Backpacker's dream rain jacket
I usually don't write reviews for products that I bought on Amazon but I felt like this jacket deserves it :)I was on the hunt for an ultra light rain jacket for backpacking and came across this particular jacket. The description said it was around 200 grams but I thought it should be a little bit lighter for the size that I wear. When I took it out of the box I immediately knew that it's a lot lighter than the specified weight bc I weighed one one my shirts and it's 110 grams and this jacket felt lighter. I instantly took out my kitchen scale and threw in on and "Holly cow" I was shocked when it registered at 69 grams for a size medium, almost too good to be true. I ran the jacket under the facet and all of the water rolled off leaving my hands completely dry. I'll sum up some of the points I like and dislike about the jacket.Pros:-ultralight 69 grams for size medium.-3 grams for the stuff sack.-water proof (to a certain degree)-Has a hidden hood that rolled into the collars and provides insulation for your neck.-slim fit elastic cuffs and helm.-good sewing throughout the jacket.- has a chest pocket to store small items.Cons:-runs a bit small (I am 5'10 and 147lbs pretty athletic shaped, I usually wear size small jackets but this medium fits me perfectly if I wear a one sweatshirts underneath) so size up one size if you're going to wear it over one base layer, and 2 sizes if you'll wear it over a down jacket.-not seam sealed ( though it's pretty easy to do so)-some extra material on the inside of the jacket and stitching on the velcro for the hood could be better.- doesn't provide much warm but this is not what it's intended for.Overall, I highly recommend this jacket if you're un ultralight backpacker and looking to get the absolute lightest rain jacket at the cheapest price point. It left a little bit to be desired but if you take the extra step to seam seal it yourself you'll have an amazing rain jacket that's super light and cheap. Thanks for reading my reviews, I'll update it more if I decide to seam seal my jacket. :)

U.S. men's sizing
This replaced a similar nylon windbreaker I have backpacked with for 5 years. Overall this is highly useful item for any backpacker or cyclist at a great price point. The weight:function rate is very good - it provides slight extra warmth, wind, and rain protection in a breathable and next-to-nothing weight package. My qualms are the following:-U.S. Men's sizing, even the small is very big on my thin 5'8" frame. Please make smaller sizes for women and others!-The material is not as warm or water resistant as my previous windbreaker. The material has pressed lines on it seemingly to make it "softer" or more flexible, but that degrades it ability to resist the elements. My old windbreaker did not have this feature and the material was a bit stiffer and increased its function. (It was pure nylon, not coated with any water-resistant polymer.)-No hand pockets. The zippered chest pocket is okay, though sort of unnecessary. Non-zippered hand pockets would make this item more comfortable and functional. When wearing a coat, one naturally wants to put your hands in pockets.-Hood is elastic rather than drawstring. A drawstring would provide more versatility and improved appearance - the elastic hood is not very comfortable and looks pretty dumb when on.

Just enough warmth. Ultralight. Good buy
Im normally medium. I bought a large because I wanted to wear it over my running vest. But looks baggy alone. It’s great for a little warmth when one is sweaty and stop moving. Blocks just enough wind. Breathable. Ultra light. Not a big investment. I will probably get a medium in another color. The large was just big enough for me to zip up my while wearing my packed running vest

Great for dressing wounds!
I did not receive something even remotely close to what the photo showed or what the reviews said I would. It’s SUPER light weight, which is awesome! However, it’s literally so thin it’s see through and looks like I’m playing a really poor mummy for Halloween. Ran some water along it and my skin got wet immediately…So…I’m not sure I’m getting the same thing as everyone else. Glad I can return because it’s literally not even the same item.

It's exactly what I wanted, BUT
It's perfect! Lightweight and scrunchable into a tiny ball (and has a bag). Has a hood that folds into the collar if you don't need it. Has pockets! BUT, even tho I got the small, it is HUGE on me (I wear a woman's medium). AND I had to return it because the zipper will not go into the bottom clasp so I can't zip it up. I would like to just get a replacement, but what if all the zippers are balky. AND I wish it wasn't so big.

Excellent wind protection at a bargain price
I'm using this jacket as a wind layer while thru-hiking the Colorado Trail. It works very well in adding warmth over just my base layer (sun hoodie) or warm layer (sun hoodie plus alpha direct hoodie). Wind tends to immediately remove warmth from alpha direct fabrics; this is a good, lightweight way to counteract that. The gray, medium jacket weighs 2.2oz (62g) without the stuff sack. Ditch the stuff sack, it is oversized for the jacket, and you can use the jacket's chest pocket to pack it up small. The zipper is delicate, can catch the fabric easily, and is on the opposite side than normal for men's clothing. But this item is a fraction of the price of other manufacturers' ultralight wind jackets (such as the Patagonia Houdini).

sun only, ULTRA light. not for wind or rain, zipper weak
ULTRA light! (80 grams/2.8 oz)Good protection against no-see-ums (look it up, and be afraid)fair-good protection against sunNO rain protection.A breezebender, but not a windbreaker. Actually could be a good thing on a very hot sunny day to let the breeze in and the rays out.zipper is weak point: it easily runs off track. Also, talon is on wrong side, normally (for men) it is on right side, this is on left. I'm replacing the zipper with a better quality one, and ond set up for men.packs up tiny. Jam it in a pocket

LET VE IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Fits great, I did get one size larger than normal. Very lightweight but still keeps you warm and doesn’t overheat you. 300% worth the money!
