Fromel Standby Switch Mod for Fender Blues Jr.

Great product. Takes care of the only real issue with Blues Jr., Fender forgot to put in the standby. Once installed which is super simple, you can put it in standby and get rid of the annoying pop when you swap guitars or cables. A quality switch and proper gauge wire make it a safe addition to the unit. Go ahead, you know that static and pop drive you nuts, right?

Added this and the Fromel Supreme Mod kit to my FSR Blues Junior III "Chocolate Tweed". Very easy to install and it does what it claims to do. I like the idea of letting the amp warm up a little before playing, and this is also a nice touch that makes switching between guitars a whole lot quieter when I am not using my pedal board.

Not sure why Fender doesn't put a standby switch on the Blues Jr, but this mod solves that issue easily and inexpensively. I'm not Mr. Electronics Tinker and was able to do the install myself. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.

All amp should come with these.
