Handmade Damascus Hunting Knife with Leather Sheath - 12.15" Knife with Black Micarta Handle - Camping Knife Best Gift for Men and Women

Now I admit I haven’t put this knife through the wringer or anything yet but I really like this knife! Mine came well packaged and oiled. Had to do some honing but a workable edge out of the box. Handle is smooth but has a “grippyness” to it. Distal flare of the handle makes it feel secure in the hand and has pretty good blade index ability. The blade itself is gorgeous, as are the guard and butt cap (all Damascus steel), I was not disappointed. Sheath is also nice and not some cheap, fake leather! It’s actual leather that is thick and well put together. All around pleased I purchased this knife and recommend it!

Very well made, bought two on my own, one for a gift and liked it so much I bought another (not a paid review here). The first was for my son, then I discovered they offered a Damascus version - I just couldn't resist. The sheath is quality leather which I would have preferred in black, but some leather dye solved that. Both are working well so far. On the heavy side, but this is a serious knife. Can recommend for hunting or camping. Superior balance, quality steel and workmanship and should last a lifetime. Order now before the price goes up.

Looks like a reasonable quality knife. Follows the grind of my Randall #1, but without the graceful lines. Good solid handle and guard.

I wondered how the D2 is priced within cents of the damascus version. Not planning hard use of the knife, damascus wins for pure aesthetics. The blade came sharp enough, but a little honing made it better. The nice leather sheath is just another bonus.

Very well made! Solid. Blade oiled down, sharp but not razor sharp, sheath is all leather. Knife packaging was really good. I’m impressed!! Out of my norm buying an off brand knife , but this is really nice for the money.

Absolutely beautiful Model 1 clone. It's not exact in the details, but I feel it would give the real thing a run for it's money. The Damascus pattern is beautiful and the Micarta handle is excellent. I would recommend this knife to any collector, the craftsmanship is outstanding.

Nice Damascus knife made as a working knife. not too hard and takes a nice edge. well finished and includes a heavy leather sheath that is functional for the knife. no unfinished parts . useable right out of the box.

Bei diesem Messer stimmt einfach alles. Für den recht geringen Preis bekommt man ein super Messer.- Keine Verarbeitungsfehler- Alle Teile perfekt zusammengesetzt- Sehr gute Balance, der Schwerpunkt liegt ca. 3mm hinter der Parrierstange auf dem Griff- Wird gut geschliffen geliefert- Die Lederscheide ist stabil und sauber verarbeitet- Griff aus MicartaDas einzig Negative ist, dass die Lederscheide am anfang stark riecht. Das gibt sich aber nach ein paar Tagen von alleine, finde ich nicht weiter schlimm.Dass das Messer mehr Pflege benötigt als ein rostfreier Stahl versteht sich ja auch von selbst.Alles in allem ein wunderbares Messer, nur zum Verschenken eigenet es sich nicht: man kann es, warum auch immer, nicht mehr loslassen ;)

Das Messer kam sehr gut verpackt und eingefettet bei mir an. Der Damaststahl birgt keine sichtbaren Schäden und die Schneide ist scharf.Erwähnenswert sind drei sehr kleine Macken am schwarzen Griffholz die mich aber nicht sonderlich stören.das Fangseil am Griff ist dünner als in der Abbildung bei Amazon und es ist ein Gummi welches ich aber sowieso durch ein schwarzes Paracord austausche.Die kräftige Lederscheide ist passgenau und sehr gut verarbeitetKurzum für diesen Preis ein sehr schönes gutes Messer !!!

Das Messer an sich ist eigentlich sehr schön und ist stabil mit dem Griff verbunden, was mich aber stört ist das es nicht sonderlich scharf ist (ich kann langsam mit meinem Finger und etwas Druck über die Klinge fahren und nichts passiert) und die Verpackung doch sehr billig ist (kleiner Papkarton in dem das Messer mit unzaehligen Lagen von Plastikfolie und Gummibaendern umgeben ist und locker hin und her rutscht). Zudem ist an der Scheide ein Knopf der das Messer beim rein und rausholen aus der Scheide an dieser Stelle verkrazt.Mein Fazit: Eigentlich ein schönes Messer aber man könnte noch etwas an der Praesentation und schaerfe arbeiten
