This thing is sturdy! I'm no tiny dancer and was worried about the plastic ones. One of the reviews about the Pirouetter said upwards of 300 lbs is the limit, which I am far from, but thought it'd be a better bet than the other brands. It's made of wood and definitely sturdy.I tried some easy triples in a corner of my living room to test it out, which isn't exactly the safest since it is slick on hardwood floor, but that's the point of it. I love it and will bring it into a proper dance studio to get my turn on!

We got this turn board for our 16 year old daughter who has been in ballet for 10 years. It is very well made and it arrived very quickly using Prime. She really liked it, and was able to adjust her center of gravity to make this board work for her. She did think it was longer than others she had seen, which would probably be great for a dancer with a bigger foot. My daughter has a small foot, so she just had to practice a bit to get her balance on the board before turning. Looking forward to watching her grow in her turning ability using this tool.

Very dangerous without an instructor

Quite happy with it. It is very solid and strong.I've no fear of it breaking even though I'm quite heavy.I bought it to practice ice skating, so I've been wearing boots with a heal the same height as my ice skates on it. They seem to grip to it quite well, and the balance feels quite similar to my skates.I've used it on flat hard carpet and have only managed a couple of kinda semi-decent spins. I think the spin will be better when I get a hard surface to use it against.I haven't had a chance to skate on ice since I bought it, so I'll be interested to see how much it messes with my balance.Even if it does throw my balance off, I think it will still be useful for muscles, and practicing position.Plus it is rather fun.

We were hoping it would function on the carpet, even if it didn't work as well as it would on tile/wood, but really, it doesn't work on the carpet at all. Besides that, it's great. Within a few minutes, my daughter was able to complete 9 or 10 pirouettes, allowing her to work on her form much better than she could do without the board.

I love your Pirouetter. As an adult ballet student (67) it is helping me to gain confidence with my turns and to find my center. As I am/was not familiar with turners, it would have been helpful to have at least a one page instruction sheet as to how to use. The quality of your product is excellent and most likely better then most on the market. I would highly recommend your product to my fellow ballet students.
