Chickens love it. At first only one of our chickens liked it. The others weren't sure. They finally tried it and coming running over now as soon as I pull the bucket out.

It's freeze dried meal works from China.
The marketing for this product is promising- Woman-owned, American business. Organic. But then I read the fine print- the product is imported from China.Well, the hens like meal worms as an occasional treat, so this bag will not go to waste, but there are alternatives out there that are made in America and are more confidently organic.Good stuff, not great.

Good treats for chickens but pricey for 1lb
Our chickens loved the treats. It’s a great way to bond with the chickens as they love eating the meal worms from your hand.We usually get grubs but these mealworms have higher protein, 52% which they need especially since one of our chicken is losing her feathers for the winter. The mealworm size is smaller than the grubs so I think it will be good for younger chickens. We would love to get it again but it’s pricey for the 1lbs bag.

Way overpriced
They are charging a crazy amount for this product, not even made in the USA, but from China.

Smells fresh
This is a 1 lb bag of dried mealworms. The contents are simply dried mealworms. They come packaged in a mylar resealable bag. The manufacturer is headquartered in California, but the meal worms were sourced in China.I like the fresh smell of these mealworms. I also like the size. I’ve tried black soldier fly larvae before, and my birds didn’t like them. Also, the black soldier fly larvae didn’t fit in my bird feeder. These mealworm larvae are more popular with the birds, and they work fine in my feeders. Overall, this is a good choice for dried mealworms.

This is a nutritious treat our hens go bananas over.
For a few years now my family has maintained a small mixed flock of a dozen or so chickens and Guinea hens for their eggs and as pets for the young kids. To put it into context, the kids have named all of the bird and help feed and care for them. Simply put, these are kid friendly, pampered, birds that are regularly given treats of cracked corn, a variety of diced fruits, and now, mealworms. These “Mealworms Delights” treats have been a hit with our birds (literally) right out of the gate; they are pecked up as excitedly as poultry sized Godivas would be. It is nice to have them as a nutritious, high protein, treat to add variety to the birds’ diet. These mealworms are easy to “serve” and convenient to store. They have been a success with our birds and we plan to keep them in our treat rotation.

Chickens love them, but..l
My chickens love these, but they are way overpriced! You can get a 5 lb. Bag from other sellers for about the same price of this small bag.Meal worms are a great chicken treat and seem to help with feather growth during molts.Your chickens will love you for feeding them these worms, but your wallet will not.
