Quick arrival. I am going to use the easel to display large art frames I build & was concerned about the sturdiness. It is a little heavier than I anticipated and that combined with a really well thought out design and hardware makes this easel rock solid. I'm glad I bought the one made of ash wood, a hardwood that baseball bats are made of. I imagine that helps. I assembled it between touchdowns and glugs of Dr. Pepper and all told, it only took me 45 minutes. I read other reviews where people had difficulty, but I don't know how the instructions could be written more clearly.Even the hardware is divided into separate, clearly labeled bags. They include a decent Philips screw driver, but a #2 size Philips would probably be a little better. It is easily adjustable, but that doesn't make it loose goosey. I almost bought the knock off, cheaper brand, but this one is worth every penny. I couldn't be more satisfied. Thanks for a great product.

This is a great easel for smaller spaces, like basements or apartments, that can't accommodate a taller one and you don't want to use a tabletop easel. The quality is as expected in this price range, operation is smooth, weight is manageable and it is sturdy to paint on. My only 'slightly' negative comment is that it really is an easel to sit at. It's just not tall enough to stand with the work at eye level. That is ok if it's what you are looking for, as I was. Note that there is no place to hold paints or materials, the shelf is only for the canvas. Recommend this easel.

We needed a way to display a 4' x 8' x 1/2" sheet of plywood. A pair of these easels did the job. This model is sturdy, easy to assemble and height adjustable. It folds up flat for easy storage. No extra tools for assembly needed because they provide the screwdriver. Nice touch.

This easel is great especially if you don't have a lot of space. Its quite attractive in walnut, functional and very sturdy. It was relatively easy to assemble but when I did hit a small snag their customer service was amazing, fast friendly and efficient. I felt like I was their one very special customer.

Love how it looks! It comes with all the tools you need to put it together. (I have mid level skills at building furniture.) Instructions do not have any words but if you follow the diagrams exactly (pay attention to details) you’ll be fine. Took about 20 minutes to build.

Nice and sturdy

Very attractive and well made. Less than half the cost of a similar product at my local Hobby Lobby. Putting it together was a little challenging but not bad. Don’t let cats help you and you’ll be fine.

The easel is a tad difficult to assemble. The bottom crossbar which dictates the angle of the two vertical support pieces had the holes for the bolts drilled on the wrong side so the I had to flip it and drill my own holes.

Very easy to put together, well manufactured and easy to adjust height as long as the canvas isn’t too big. I find it’s a bit wobbly, but have to expect that with a three leg design. I would buy another one.

Very good quality and very nice finish and colour. It's strudy and ajustable and I am very pleased with this easel.
