Great in a semi truck for the Hot Logic oven on the go
My husband has been using this for two months now in his truck on the road with no troubles yet. He's primarily using it to power his Hot Logic personal oven for heating/cooking food while he's driving. It may be in use for two or three hours at a time and can get a little warm, but never hot so far. For his purposes, this inverter has been exactly what he needed and it works as desired.

Did the job!
Operated fine and hooked up to a car battery so that my cpap macine would function while I went camping overnight.

4 mos. after purchase, it’s dying.
Four months after purchase, it’s dying. With a name like Duracell, you’d think it would be a quality product.Four months after purchase, almost to the day, the inverter power light started flashing and intermittently turns power on / off. Repeatedly. It’s become unstable and completely unreliable. And no, it’s not the plug, the socket or the battery in my vehicle.

STOP! NOT 400 WATTS ONLY 100
Tried two of these thinking the first one was a dud. Bought for inflatable matress. 110V .9A (on mattress filler tag) = 99 Watts. Both models cycled about 1once per second to once every 5 seconds. I used the battery post clamps not the cigarette lighter plug. Tried with engine running and with engine off. Both of the same model struggled. No red overload light. Just green and its working, then green light out and it shuts down (to cool down?). It filled the mattress just took awhile.

Works well for small electronics
I did a basic functionality test by plugging it into the DC outlet in my car and also a portable jump starter battery and it appears to charge phones and tablets just fine. I'm not sure why this is advertised as 400W on the box when the manual says it's 320W. Still enough for charging small electronics. The jumper clips for connecting it to a car battery is a nice plus for prolonged emergencies.

BAD Quality
I'm on vacation with this Power Inverter right now and it starts already smoking, hopefully i will make the deadline for return. Very disappointed.

Good choice!
For camping and tailgating, this is a great device. Won't handle much load when connected to the 12v cigarette lighter, but when connected directly to the battery, it is very strong.

Beware: Poor design.
Don't buy this. When I connected it to my car battery the fuse inside the inverter blew. When I pulled the inverter apart to take a look, the fuses are soldered in place and can't be replaced. Very poor design. Waste of $35.
