Good buy
I needed something to keep my tea hot while I travel. After reading all the reviews I purchased this flask, and so far it has done the job. I've only had it a week, but the first time I used it, it happened to be a cold rainy day. My daughter and I were sitting outside, but the tea was still perfectly hot as it was being poured. Another feature I like is the spout. You don't have to keep unscrewing the cap, simply pop the button and pour. Also the outside of the bottle doesn't get hot, it stays cold to the touch. I'll update this review if I run into any problems since I haven't had it for very long.

The thermos is great, the lid is a fail.
The thermos is fine, but the cap is a weak link. The cap has a spring loaded plunger to either release pressure or allow pouring without removing the top. On occasion the cap has been depressed without my knowing (this isn't a feature I've used) which ended up leaking into my sling bag. Since the cap sends contents through the lid when the plunger is open, this requires dismantling to clean the small areas inside. The lid can be difficult to put back together, and if you don't have things well aligned, the lid won't seal at all.My co worker has the same thermos and his cap broke entirely when it fell over. He worked around by removing the plunger altogether, and I've done the same. I wish the manufacturer had simply used a slot along the threads of the lid to allow fluid to flow without completely removing the lid. This is a much simpler design and avoids that need to dismantle for cleaning.

Leaks & exterior paint peels
This product leaks. No matter how you screw the lid on, you can turn it upside down and right side up then it leaks out the side. Also the paint almost immediately started peeling from the exterior of the bottle.

Cool But Flaky!
I had been looking for a compact, stylish thermos to keep at my bedside at night. This is the one! It is very pretty and keeps the water cool all night, despite the room temperature. I recommend this item - be sure to read the enclosed instructions for best use! ADDITIONAL REVIEW AS OF AUGUST 17TH: The cooling part remains excellent, but the red paint is flaking off the bottom all over the counter, in tiny bits.

Exactly what I wanted
This product is GORGEOUS and works beautifully. I carry it with me on daily 1-2 mile hikes with my dog here in hot/humid Florida, and I like my water cold, so this was the answer. The 16 oz. size is not too big to carry in hand, not breakable, and since I carry a small, belt-clipped collapsible cup for the dog, we both have cups to drink from (preferred over having to suck or squirt water down my throat). Love it!

Not for soup, you've been warned!
Ok, to be fair these are probably fine for coffee. I was trying to use mine for thin soup (another reviewer seems to have done this successfully) so I could drink dinner on my way home from work (oh the joys of being a working mom). However, I had three problems: 1) hot soup slowly pressurized in the thermos so I and my car would get splattered when I opened it; 2) the interior plastic valve cap is hard to clean and even once clean it retains odors and stains, but leaving it off will just result in leaks if the thermos is tilted; 3) you really can't drink out of the actual thermos--the metal rim is thin and penny-tasting and the plastic cap is for pouring into the lid only. In the end, I made many attempts to make these work and just couldn't. And I would use them for coffee or tea instead, but can't get the vague hint of soup to come out of the lid

the internal gasket did not last a month. The ...
the internal gasket did not last a month. The normal heat of coffee, caused it to become misshapen, and not it does not seal properly. Although the gasket that you push down so you can pour the liquid will drip unles you close it and tip it a second time to remove the extra liquid, that isn't a problem. The problem is, now that the gasket is warped, it is ready to spill out at any moment, endangering my briefcase or suit. The style gets complements, and it does keep liquid either cold or hot, depending upon what you wish. I have to use it for a drinking cup, becaue I cant trust the gasket.
