It became one of my all time favorite in no time. I was skeptical about the book when I first heard that it was a letter from a son to his mother who can't read. But God was I wrong?!! It's beautifully put together. Abuse, loss, war, beauty, love and life. I've never annotated so much like I did this book. This book has my heart. If you adore poetry like prose, if you love reading about life with such rawness, you're in for a treat. Absolutely wrecked and saved my heart. ❤️‍🩹
