I use this for many things besides just onions and some other vegetables. I also use it to stab through meat before marinating. Highly recommend this product. But I'm not scared of slicing through the onions sideways while dicing them and cut myself. I was always cautious before but now I don't have to focus on cutting myself.

Good product, the tines are actually quite more sturdy than I imagine they would be and the metal ball fixture spins Exquisitely.The length is fine, imo the tines could be longer to allow for a thicker knife to cut the onions, however the current length adds to the sturdiness of the design and creates a comfortable sense of durability.All-in-all I will be recommending this to friends and family!

I like it, it can be used to slice: tomato - onions - peppers - eggplant - zucchini- cucumbers - backed potato. Gives you a perfet cut with a good grip
