Removal Wrench for Sloan Flushmate ST100500-K Cartridge for Pressure Assist Toilet

The plastic casting was sub-par. I know this because the part was broken to pieces by the new improved USPS. In the plastic casting there were numerous voids. Now the seller did a fabulous job getting me a replacement in a hurry and they sent it packed to survive the new improved USPS which it did. However, by the time it arrived I'd already 3D printed my own. Still, A+ seller. I would buy from them again, just not that part.

Not sure how I would have removed the cartridge without this tool. Thank goodness I purchased this to replace the cartridge

My mistake, I rushed to make this purchase without reading the reviews. After receiving the item, I went to the jobsite to extract the old valve and this tool exploded at first twist. I had barely put any torque on it and it just broke into shards.The seller did fine in getting the product to me, but if they know this is junk and they keep selling it, shame on them. 100% waste of money, don't buy it. As others have stated, I ended up using channel lock pliers to do the job. Don't rely on this cheap cheap plastic to do the job folks.

The second I applied pressure with a ratchet and socket to turn this "removal wrench", it cracked and broke into pieces. There is NO WAY this thing would survive beyond finger tightening the cartridge it's designed to work with. A total joke. Use the handles of a pair of channellock pliers as shown in the cartridge instructions as an alternative. That's what I had to wind up doing. I can't believe they charge $13+ for this cheap piece of plastic.

I should have listened to the other negative reviews - as soon as I applied the slightest amount of force to this tool with my wrench it shattered into 2 pieces!With the amount of force I needed to remove the flush mate cartridge there’s no way this tool would have been able to do the job.Pro tip: you can use the handles of your wrench to unscrew the cartridge making it unnecessary to even purchase this tool.

Shattered immediately with minimal pressure. As you can see from other reviews, this is a defective fraudulent item. Seller did not respond. Had to process refund with Amazon. These guys should be shut down.

Cheap, brittle plastic. Broke in half with minimal torque the first time I used it. Was going to return the 2 pieces, but they won't refund if it can't be resold, Use a pliers handle or order a metal one. Price for this is ridiculous.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! tried to put the extension for my 1/4" drive ratchet and as soon I did the cartridge tool split in half, junk piece of plastic. had to order directly from Sloan and waiting.
