I love flying this mini drone. The battery charge time (~80 minutes when fully drained) isn't the greatest, but you can always buy spare batteries. The flight time is about 9 minutes. I mainly fly it indoors and don't do a lot of fancy flying. The flips it can do are pretty cool, though. The 2 modes of flying are great for beginners and experienced fliers, and you can change the sensitivity of the controls literally with the push of a button. You can also customize the controller through a setup menu and fine-tune the sensitivity to your flying style. The controller itself is more customizable and tune-able than the listing eludes to! I also like the headless mode it has so you can start learning to fly drones without being concerned with which way the drone is facing. I've learned to fly RC helicopters before, and knowing which way the aircraft is facing in relation to you is crucial. But the headless mode - also switchable with 1 button click - makes learning the basics of flight easy. Every [normal] flight starts and ends with a hover, so learn how to hold it still in the air first! This little drone does a great job of stabilizing itself and holding an altitude but remember that small breezes inside your home can affect its altitude as well; things like ceiling fans. It can get sucked up into the fan if you're not careful because the down draft of air gives the drone a big boost of lift.I'd say this purchase was a great one. I've flown a Parrot AR Drone 2 and it sucked. I've flown other mini drones and they were okay, but spastic and easy to lose sight of. But this little guy is great. The lights are bright, it's easy to see at night, the construction is forgiving for crashes, the blades are extremely easy to pop on and off (for adding or removing the blade guards) and the overall feel of flying it is rewarding. With other mini drones the flying is okay and you feel like you had some fun, but flying this makes you feel like you're accomplishing something by learning how to fly a drone that acts like the large, expensive drones (minus the camera).I'd recommend this mini drone for first time fliers and hobbyists alike. It responds well, it lasts longer than a lot of mini drones (not having a camera helps with battery time) and it's pretty durable. I personally like the colors because it matches the color scheme of my RC helicopter, which I've named "Hornet" so this mini drone is "Baby Hornet."I didn't give it a fifth star because realistically speaking there is no such thing as a five-star product. If there was, companies wouldn't need to have a customer support number.

Incredible !!! I ordered this at 9:30 PM on a Thursday and it was delivered at 7:30 AM on Friday ! I was flying 20 minutes later. ( I already have extra batteries)This little Drone is already very impressive for several reasons : It's very easy to fly, it's fast, it's certainly durable, all of the functions work perfectly, and it really looks cool ! I'm looking forward to a warm, windless day so I can take her outside and push the limits on what the Hornet can really do. I'm betting it will perform like a CHAMP, just like all the other Hubsans that I own.Here's the deal- READ the Operators Manual front to back to familiarize yourself with the Hornet. Beginners need to start slowly and have some room to maneuver until you're comfortable. It won't be long until you become a great drone pilot !I will provide updates as they occur.Last but certainly not least I want to say that I've had the "EXTREME" pleasure of doing business with "The Little One's Choice" many times and it has always been a fantastic experience ! I bought this thing on Friday, It showed up on Saturday much to my surprise.... So a few items on this... I would not call it a "beginner" model due to the flight controls and the amount of options that are configurable on it... I have 3 drones and have a ton of flight time in them and this by far had the least intuitive controls I have seen (this is the reason and shipping via USPS the for 4 stars), battery life leaves much to be desired. Thats pretty much all the Cons I have for it... Now ONCE YOU READ THE MANUAL FRONT TO BACK, and again and again and get used to the controls its really nice.. The altitude hold works really nicely, headless mode is great, the stunts are pretty much standard on all drones now adays but never the less still fun to toy with, the stability is wonderful;coming to a complete mid air hover and walking away for a minute indoors with no wind is very easy... Over all its an outstanding drone for intermediate drone pilots/ people starting off who don't mind reading extremely thoroughly. I would recommend this to a friend for the price on it.

Everything about this copter is of lower end, plastice, power board, etc. Its a little slow for me even in expert mode and the altitude has a mind of its own. I only give it a 3 star cuz its a hubsan, easy to fly and affordable... UPDATE: O stars, this thing is junk and not woth it. Less than a week old with only a few flights and now it wont even lift off the ground more than two inches befor smacking back to the ground, will b returning it. Cant belive this is a hubsan.. UPDATE : A day later and now the right front A motor still spins but not as fast as the others causing it to spin on one arm.. I Dont recomend buying this heap unlees u like wasting money. Not even worth my time if they were giving it away..An faule advertised bout 11 min flight 7 min best. This thing does not one stunt, trick, flip or roll as advertised. The company that sold it is a joke and has poor customer skills, been over a week and still no respones from them
