This unique and sturdy ladder-style frame will help you get up without the risk of strains or falls. Mobility issues make it really difficult to get in and out of chairs. Even chairs with armrests don't provide adequate leverage, since your arms can't lift you as well when they're at your sides. Made from durable yet lightweight steel, this frame can be taken anywhere for use around the house. It has a wide base that provides optimal stability and will prevent you from having accidents or wobbles. It supports up to 150kg (25 stones), so it can be used by a wide variety of people. The frame has three different handles covered in ergonomic foam that make gripping easy and comfortable. Whenever you need to get up, you can simply 'climb' the ladder to get out of your chair or bed. Color Black Feature Max Weight 150kg (25 stones) Size 81 x 51 x 40cm (32 x 20 x 15.75 inches)

I love this thing! Hint: focus your weight DOWNwards
After I got rid of my coffee table to declutter the living room, I realized I had been using it to stabilize myself when getting up from the couch. I started looking for a device to help me stand, but they all seemed to have drawbacks: they needed to go under cushions (my couch cushions are attached), or would take up too much room, or might get stuck on my hips! (I am wide and fat, lol!). This can be placed precisely in any position that makes you feel safest. It can easily be moved from room to room; I use it as a sort of cane at times, to get in and out of bed, for security when I have to remain standing for a few minutes (eg, putting away clothes). At first I was frustrated with it bc I kept pulling it towards myself, and it would tip and be useless. The trick is to push down, as you would with a crutch, and then your own weight stabilizes it. It feels SO sturdy when I do this. I appreciate that the base on one side is open; sometimes you need to position your foot in that area. It also makes it easier to "nest" with other pieces of furniture, dinner trays, etc so it takes up less space.

Useless as a chair support.
No instructions or Videos on how to use this to get out of a chair. Bought it for my Father, he can't use it. I am able bodied and can't figure out how to use it. I can see no way this will help him.Would probably work bedside.Construction was very good, things fit nicely.

Works great when trying to get in & out of bed.
I specifically bought this, to help me get off the floor, after cleaning my litter box. It did not help me get off the floor, but I'm glad I kept it, comes in very handy, since I can't walk without my Walker, it's a nice sturdy thing to grab. My son tightened up the fittings, so now it's perfect!!

Not sturdy enough to be free standing.
I had to look at the instructions a few times as the assembly was confusing at first. It's sturdy enough if you have it wedge under something. Otherwise I don't feel that it would be sturdy enough on its own. One thing that I am annoyed at is that it was suppose to come with bolt/screw covers. I assumed that they just forgot to put them in my parts bag. I was sent another one and that also did not have them. And before I could just go buy some my mother injured her leg on one of the bolts. This product meets my needs as it is pushed under a couch anchoring it down and helps my mother get up but I would not purchase this if you want something that is free standing.

This what I have been needing! Perfect help with the multi step bath process with Multiple Sclerosis.
I am really impressed! Sturdy and larger than I thought. I have Multiple Sclerosis and needed something to help out of my office chair (I work at home). I am also recovering from a broken arm. I can rock myself up and grab hold of it. There are multiple levels. None are too high as is usually the problem. I will be getting more for sure. I have a bath lift now (Bellavita) and tried the easy up chair support last night to grab hold of while getting out of the tub (this is how I broke my arm). It's great with the multiple levels to help up. I raise the bath lift all the way up first, sit on the edge of the garden tub on a wet kitchen towel, so I won't slide. Once I get my legs over with a leg lifter, I hold onto the easy up chair support to get to a bath chair to sit on and catch my breath awhile. Unlike a quad cane that I was using before (one level, too high and falls over), this is perfect!

It will do what is needed
Instructions very difficult to use. Had to reverse screws several times to get things in position. The screws and nuts are of very poor quality and am not sure how long before they loosen with use. Concept is good. Construction leaves a bit to be desired. It is NOT stable.

Tips easily, not sturdy, cheap/missing hardware
The assembly itself is not complicated. It's made to be more complicated than it should be because it's missing several pieces of hardware. Mine was missing 2 nuts, 3 washers and a screw. So before I could even assemble it I had to make a trip to the hardware store. I'm glad I bought extras at the hardware store because of the nut caps provided, only half were usable. The others had been machined so sloppily that the threads were chewed up and wouldn't tighten on to the screws.Once assembled, I found it to be cheap and not sturdy at all. I purchased this for my father. If he pulls too hard as he's trying to stand, it rocks backward. If he shifts his weight slightly too far forward once standing the thing rocks forward. As other reviewers have mentioned it needs to be weighted at the bottom. Or maybe it's just a poor design overall.I just don't see how this could be safely used for someone who really needs it. Disappointing. I bought one to start out and if it had worked well I was going to buy one for multiple rooms in his house. Now the search for a solution continues.

A big help!
This was a huge help to my husband and a comfort to me knowing he had something to help him up in the bathroom. Not quite as steady as I might have liked but it made those visits a lot safer.

Much as hoped
The average DIY person will find this easy enough to assemble but it is no "instant" job. Also, the frame is sturdy enough for those of average weight/height (and sensibly beyond) but is a bit awkward to use in confined spaces. Essentially, for me, very much as hoped and with very prompt service from supplier.

je l'ai acheté en prévision. Pour le moment, il ne m'est pas indispensable (85 ans) mais, je l'ai testé, il ne tardera pas à m'être utile
