I don't think sticky strips would work. **Q: Hi. Can it be put outdoors?** A: What does the description say? What is it made of? Anything can be put outdoors in a covered/protected area. I really don't know the answer to your question. Ask Toscano. It IS a beautiful piece though. I painted mine a flesh color, as I didn't like the grayish color. **Q: Are the holes that are meant to be hung on the wall made out of metal?
