In Search of Sunrise 12-Dubai

Excellent mix, RD has done it again! Great variety of the latest tracks ranging in many different types of artists. So many titles on one album I still cant put this one down!

from beginning to finish this journey is awesome... I have every one of his cds and compilations and they get better and better every time

There is a certain sound/atmosphere that Tiesto started for this series and that mood runs throughout his series. While Durand is a decent DJ and I have continued to buy his works, his, "In Search Of.." albums, bear little resemblance to the feel of the Tiesto albums I love so much. I have talked to others, who have been similarly disappointed by his take on the series. It just doesn't feel like, "In Search Of..." at all. This set, however has a third entry by DJ Lange....and now we are talking, "In Search Of Sunrise !" Lange has captured the mood and spirit of the series and run with it. Not only has he got the mood, the damned dude has amped it up ! It is dance album that really kicks ass in both tunes, and the booty-motivating beats. This Cd kills ! I love it, I love it, I love it ! I am not crazy about Durand's, which has fallen prey to overdoing of the fuzzy sound I have come to hate because it seems to be everywhere, pretending to be creativity. Lange does have some of that on his Cd, but he uses it carefully and to joyful effect. The guy is just good. I can't stop dancing (as I write this, I am listening to it again) and the tunes are good for just listening too. They are very joyful and celebratory in tone; they make me want to jump and shout. It is he who should be the heir to the, "...Sunrise" franchise. The guy is, musically, very smart. he makes a lot of other DJ's look like they have fallen asleep on the job. For his Cd alone, this set is worth investing in. I haven't felt this good about a trance cd all year. Thanks Lange !

Passing the Baton was a good choice ... iSoS still kicks it thanks to Richard ... From 1999 to 2015 and Beyond ...

Nachdem mir die letzten Teile von ISOS nicht so gut gefallen haben, muss ich sagen dass mit Nr. 12 ein großer Wurf gelungen ist.Die einzelnen Stücke passen gut zusammen und der Spannungsaufbau funktioniert.Für meinen Geschmack dürften noch ein bisschen mehr Vocals integriert werden.

OK we all loved the Tiesto ISOS mixes. But Richard seems to have added something new with CD 2 here. OK so rave alert. CD 2 sounds like a mix of Tiesto at his best (before his very strange American pop music adventure, please come back soon man) with a huge helping of Armin Van Buuren and Benno (in fact is some of this actually Gaia?). This CD is very special and hits the mark for me anyway.
