EclipseSolid Thermapanel Modern Room Darkening Rod Pocket Window Curtain for Bedroom (1 Panel), 54" x 63", Taupe

These are NOT room darkening as you can see from my picture. Do not buy if you want to block the light from coming in. These are not what they say they are!

As you can see in the one picture these are definitely not blackout or room-darkening curtains. They are also very lightweight and don't appear to have any type of thermal capabilities, so don't buy them for the supposed energy efficiency. The other issue is the color. Compare these actual color pictures to the online swatch for taupe - yes these are supposed to be taupe. They are not taupe. They are gold. I was going to return but for the price it's not worth the trouble. I will use elsewhere or give away.

The fabric is thin, which is what I wanted. They are great for spring tension rods due to the very light weight. The quality appears fine considering the extremely low cost and free shipping. My windows are short, so I wanted this length, which is hard to find.Amazingly the color matches my walls perfectly, as I had hoped. They do darken the room to about dusk when closed, but are not blackout. Out of the package they are very wrinkled, which I’ll first try to correct with a wet towel in with them in the dryer. (Update—7 minutes for 3 panels in a medium temp commercial dryer with a couple wet hand towels did the trick.). The fabric will get “picks” in it easily, be careful of that. All in all, these are just what I wanted.

The curtains I received are NOT thermal or lined or particularly light-blocking. They are a single thickness of thin, non-insulated fabric and light can be seen through them without even holding up to strong light source. I ordered these to help insulate my windows against the cold. They look and feel nice, but will not provide any type of thermal or insulative benefit I purchased them for. Disappointed. The price is right, but not if you don't get what you're in the market for and need and purchased based on product description . Now I'm out $20 or have the burden/frustration of returning and don't have insulated curtains for my windows for the arctic blast expected in my area this weekend.

These are nice looking drapes with a pleasing satin look. They block out light well and provide total privacy -- they're not see-through. The panels have a good drape to them and don't look horribly cheap. I bought these for our spare bedroom and did some alterations to them so they'd fit the window correctly. The material was easy to work with and sew, if that's your intention for these. They wash well and if you line-dry them, they don't even really need ironing before you hang them back up. You will likely need to iron them before you put them up for the first time because of the creases from the packaging.The only problem I had with these was not really the fault of the manufacturer, but my new kitten decided to play in them and left pulls and holes in them. They really don't stand up to any type of snagging very well. Consider this if you intend them to stand up to any kind of wear.

Needed this for my master bath closet, I don't want doors and was using a beat up curtain with a tension rod for the longest time, one decent tug and down it would come. I was looking for something very lightweight to combat that issue, these are perfect. They are not blackouts by any means, they have no liner on the back and are very thin.

I Purchased these curtains and the color red because it was a very dark color and it definitely helps with the sun coming through the windows and I also noticed it really helps keeping the heat and the cold from coming into the home. My cabin with all its windows facing due south can get extremely hot, these will help.

I just wanted some inexpensive panels to use in a bedroom and these were priced in my budget. Used steamer to remove creases from packaging and they looked great when hung.

Compré esta cortina para la habitación de mi bebé, que necesita 100% oscuridad para dormir bien. Las blackout son muy caras. Compré estas porque eran económicas y decían que funcionaban. NO son blackout... Simplemente son muy oscuras (ver fotos). Es una sola tela, un poco delgada, negra por ambos lados. Creo que ayuda que nunca entra luz directa por esa ventana... pero tendré que comprar para cosa para tapar la luz al 100%.Ojo: este paquete traía una sola cortina. Mucha gente se confunde por la foto del anuncio. Las de dos dicen 2-panel.

Tienen una foto de cortinas diferentes a la descripción. Claro fui un tonto porque pase por alto que eran CUADRADAS, 54 x 54. No como en la foto que ponen… bloquen la luz digamos un 90%

La foto enseña como 2 paneles de cortina pero en realidad sólo viene uno . Todas los anuncios de otros fornecedores eran de 2 paneles . Y en la descripción del anuncio en ningún momento te resaltan q es solo uno . Un engaño al consumidor que no es típico en Amazon .
