Alll transmission, worldwide, of regular tv programming stops worldwide and so in place extremely tasteless programming and commercials take their place??no comment!

Hilarious and worth watching
If you like films like "The Kentucky Fried Movie", "The Groove Tube" and "Amazon Women on the Moon", then "Prime Time: American Raspberry" is just as enjoyable. The film is an outstanding and scathing commentary on television that would work if it were made now as well as it worked back in 1977. It's 74 minutes of laughter and and fun. To see this film finally on DVD is an achievement in itself.Just be aware that this DVD isn't of the best quality. The transfer appears to be sourced from a low quality print, non-anamorphic and not enhanced for today's modern HD sets. But don't let that stop you from enjoying this film.

I like yeech, but this is boring yeech.
I'm a big fan of "Amazon Women on the Moon" and "Groove Tube" , wanted more of the same, but I found this somewhere between pointless & obvious , did not find it funny, like SNL (Still No Laughs) not funny. At least Leno & Letterman occasionaly say something humourous. I'm cutting pasting this comment for similar old video.

Couldnt watch it
Couldn't watch it..tried on several DVD players and a computer..movie skips and jumps and freezes to the point it is unwatchable..checked disc out no scratches or anything..just a bad copy I guess

Morbid Humer
I found the film delightfully and morbidly humorous. Not a movie for people who can't laugh at society and the world at large.

Perfect Comedy!!!
Prime Time (American Raspberry) is extremely hilarious! I love all the skits and gags! It's a shame that hardly anyone knows about it and it's extremely hard to find. It's a very rare film, and you should try to find it. One night, an unknown source has interrupted all television around the world, and in it's place, some weird shows, commercials, and a sex telethon. There is news about aborting the fetus during it's 5th year of life. Ole Ben Lucas. Trans Puerto Rico, Poodles for Christ, The Charles Whitman Invitational. Manny's Nymphs, The S**theads, and much more! If you love spoofs, I highly recommend PRIME TIME (AMERICAN RASPBERRY)!!!
