This "Pumkin Puncher" is an extremely effective device that will give you a standoff / breaching option as well as an aggressive, non-lethal deterrent, at an affordable price. This listing is for a TYPE "TXL". This is designed to be used with a STAGGERED length barrel to mag tube ratio. TXL specs: OAL of 5.350" To determine your actual working standoff length, measure from the face of your mag tube to your muzzle, and subtract that dimension from 4.175". Major OD of 1.400". Dimensions are approximate. This Puncher will easily fit your factory Remington 870 mag tube (in which the mag tube diameter is stepped down in the front) and will ALSO fit most aftermarket mag tubes you may have on any other shotgun. Extensions like Carlsons, Choate, Tacstar, Promag, etc. If you have an ATI, GG&G or a Nordic Components mag tube, this will not be compatible. New models will be out soon. IF YOU HAVE THE NEW GENERATION REMINGTON 870 TACTICAL WITH THE SCREW OFF MAG TUBE CAP, YOU WILL NEED A TYPE "CXL" (for a staggered length configuration). This "Pumkin Puncher" is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, and as such, machining marks may be present on some items. They are anodized flat black. Our brand is laser etched on the device but can be camouflaged with a black marker. Each unit will come with all assembly hardware, including a 1.0 ml package of VC3 Threadmate, and installation instructions.
