First off I can see why the lids for these bottles are sold separately for Hydro Flasks, it really is pretty damn nice. However the bottle itself is just as nice and a steal for 20 dollars. I've been using it every single day since my purchase and I have a couple of details beyond the normal pros and cons of a water bottle given that I've owned Healthy Human and Hydro Flask bottles.-QUICK TIP: Get a sleeve (like the GoNovate one) for your bottle, whatever one you decide to get. I've had to replace my old bottles over time because of random drops that happen. My last one fell out of my car onto the cement (2-3 feet), and it broke the vacuum seal insulation making most of the advantages of the bottle useless. The sleeve makes it less prone to damage and scuffing while also making it a lot easier to carry around.Pros:-Steel lid with inner silicone, so hot liquids do not ever touch plastic.-The bottle's rim where you drink from has rounded edges, not thin like some other bottles.-Never has a metallic taste.-The metal loop for the lid is easy to hold and use while walking around, though I also have a sleeve for the bottle.-Way better than my last bottle with almost the same exact design at keeping liquids hot or cold. Not sure exactly why, but many times I wake up the and fill the bottle with ice water only to find ice still in it from the previous morning. With hot tea it easily lasts all day.-Easy to clean (as long as you have the right-shaped brush).Cons:-Paint reaches up to where the lid presses down on the bottle when closed. In my short time of use paint has flaked off already and will probably come completely off with time. With that being said, the only annoyance to this is I have to make sure I don't have loose paint flakes when I go to take a drink, but in time this problem will go away.-I have to be careful to thread the lid on the bottle correctly or it may end up lopsided when tightened. I noticed this immediately, so I have yet to not get the lid on correctly and have water or tea leak out.-While not necessarily a con, the steel on steel threading between the lid and bottle feels a little 'gritty'. It's not actually gritty, but it's not near as smooth as plastic on metal or plastic on plastic.-I have used the bottle for hot items, and already the silicone ring seal in the cap has morphed a little bit. With that being said, this only ever results in the ring shifting when I take the lid off and sometimes splashing water in my face. Maybe it's just suggesting that I need a shower.

Hot = Don't buyHot liquids will leak. If you don't keep it upright, the pressure along with the poor design will cause your hot beverage to leak.I filled my Hood River Flask with hot coffee. I gave it a shake, hot coffee erupted from the edges of the cap.Too wide for a cup holder. If you keep the flask upright, it does not leak, but it is too wide for a cup holder. I have to use a bungy cord to hook it in the upright position as I drive.Closing it with a bit of hot liquid in it will create a vacuum and cause difficulty getting the lid off. My 12 year old couldn't remove the lid because of this vacuum effect. When the lid was pulled off, the rubber gasket came loose. It is easy to put the rubber gasket back in place, but be sure not to lose it.

Have been using this for quite a while and love it! Just as good as the big name brand (that costs 6 times as much)! seriously, my friend has one from that brand and after filling both with ice water and leaving in our car on a beach day in Florida (aka "hot"), the contents of both were equally cold. Don't waste your money, get this instead!

Big enough to hold lots of liquid, but still a manageable size for slipping into a back pack or holding one-handed. The handle is sturdy and it keeps water cold for upwards of 24 hours (haven't used it for hot). Definitely recommend!

Love this water bottle! It is extremely well made and with the completely metal cap there are no worries about BPA's of any kind. I am also quite happy that the cap isn't attached to the bottle by any sort of cord. When I in the past had bottles where the plastic cap was attached to the bottle I found it always getting in the way when I was drinking. I'm not worried about dropping the cap and love being able to completely remove it.

I love it. It's starting to accommodate some scratch marks prolly buz I'm kinda rough. The volume is perfect and easily to carry around

I purchased this product just for the lid to use on my hydro flask. It seemed like a better value to purchased the entire thing rather than just the lid. The lid is absolutely gorgeous! Makes you wonder why no other company or even hydro flask themselves make these stainless steel lid. The bottle itself seems to be of good quality as well. It's great that these lids are interchangeable to bottle if you wanted change up your bottle every now and then.

I use this everyday, I take it to work with me in the morning and when it's time to go home 8 hrs later I still have a lot of ice left! Thinking of purchasing a back up!
