This is a desktop cradle that holds the PayPal Card Reader in place and fast charges it using the dedicated Fast Charge points. A full charge for a PayPal Card Reader takes less than an hour. The cradle is USB powered. The cradle does not provide any comms to the PayPal Card Reader unit. Note: to ensure maximum quick charge, a 2 amp USB charger is required.

Pointless.
When I have the card reader on the dock it doesn't always charge it. Unless I stick my tongue out to the left side at a 45 degree angle and only take 3.7 breaths per minute while wearing one shoe. But seriously, the light barely turns red and it is useless when it is on the charging station. I have to charge it from the micro USB port. Waste of money.

Not work the money when it doesn't work
This product doesn't work sending it back. Disappointed in fact that it made the reader act funny and ultimately freeze it completely to where I had to call Paypal for help

Perfect solution
This really is a fast charger. The USB cable doesn't stay in so I bought this cradle. Charges fast. Sturdy charging looks like it can connect to some type of stand. Wish the price wasn't so high seems over priced. But it does work great

Not worth buying
A very Poor designy customers constantly compalin because it's hard to swipe the card... Not really worth it at all and only works with one of my readers the other it won't connect too never charges
