This is my second one of these kiwi cutters. The first one simply wore out (after 2+ years) and bent beyond repair. My son eats a kiwi every day in his school lunch and it would be a huge pain without this device.Simply cut the kiwi in half (not a huge fan of the provided cutter, so I use a knife), then insert the "wire" in the center, twist (carefully), sometimes twist the opposite direction a little bit and you're done! If you crank on it too hard, yes...you're going to go through the skin and cause yourself more work. Be gentle, take your time and you'll get great results 99% of the time! Give the tool a rinse and wipe and you're ready for the next day! I definitely recommend these if you go through a lot of kiwi like we do!

The kiwi tool simply put, doesn't work. It never shows it was 2 separate pieces and they won't "snap" together """ the cutting bars are round rods that damaged the kiwi not cut it.Nice thought but worthless junk 😥😥👎👎👎

The durability is not great, the item tends to warp over time. I returned it because it ended up not being durable or reliable enough, and also since Kiwis are a bit sweet and tend to attract flies if thrown away.

I spend a good deal of time in my kitchen, and this is by far my favorite kitchen tool! Let's be real - peeling kiwis is not the most enjoyable task, especially when you have kiwi obsessed kids. This is such a simple and smart way to do it faster and with less mess. If you have kiwi eaters, get this tool. You won't regret it.

For me this product is worthless. I ordered this Kiwi cutter exclusively for using on Kiwi. I don't eat any of the other products listed (mangos, etc) and wanted this solely for being able to do a large amount of Kiwi for my fruit salad.I don't know what size Kiwi everyone else in the world is getting, but, here in Minnesota we must be getting smaller Kiwi. When I went to use the Kiwi tool it was so large that it just smashed through the skin leaving me with a mess. If I have to peel each slice of Kiwi I might as well just peel the whole thing by hand anyway. I figured that, somehow, I must be using this tool wrong. I found a video. I watched the video. NOPE not using it wrong. In the video the woman has a HUGE Kiwi! I have never seen such a big Kiwi. I'm never going to be able to get a Kiwi that large!Also, the little knife that comes with this tool is pretty much worthless as well. It is so small that you have to saw and turn and saw some more to cut the Kiwi in half. Ain't NOBODY got time for that! Just use a sharp knife, or even a butter knife to quickly sever the fruit in half.I would only recommend this product to people who are able to get Kiwi that are the size of a large apple.

This is such a cute idea but it’s made for a very specific size of kiwi, does not work well with kiwis of any other size. You’re better off peeling the kiwi, quicker and less of a mess.
