Where do i start...the grips are too long and extended slightly out of the guns frame passed the mag on the bottom on both my govt model and commander model colts. Also, when they did the finish clear coat they left a hair on the finish so now i got a permanent hair on my finish. JUNK QUALITY, JUNK PRODUCT. Save your money and DO NOT BUY this product.

These grips look fabulous on my Colt nickel plated Government Model, but: someone familiar with 1911's will notice that the grips are slightly too long for the frame, on the left grip there is virtually no tolerance to swing the assembly clip into the slide, and on the right grip the cut out for the back side of the magazine release is not centered. My major issue is that after having the grips on the gun for three weeks, and it has only been lying in a case on a velvet covered shelf, the grips are beginning to absorb the color from the velvet, so I don't know how they would hold up to much handling or actual shooting.
