Review: WAS A GREAT KITCHEN TOOL ! - Came right away! Easy to use, had to go on YouTube to find recipes because none are included - just an operational manual. Very easy to clean. That was August 2016, now it's February 2017 and I have a different opinion! Last night while cooking a stew it just went DARK... as in no power. I double checked the power cord and sockets but the unit just failed. I checked the manual and there is no warranty information! It just says to contact the seller or go to a web site which does not exist. Suspect this is a SCAM PRODUCT... LOOK OUT! I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS.
Review: Defunct cooker dont waste your money - I bought this device on 21st Jan 2018 and have been most impressed with this cooker, cooked things perfectly and was simple to use. I took it out today to cook a pork sirloin only to find that nothing worked no indications on the front panel though the power cord was in perfect condition and delivered power to the cooker. This device is still less than one year old but has quit working. Had to resort to my old Prestige stove top cooker which I have had for around 40 years and still works. Further investigation showed the rectifier bridge to be burnt out. Sourced new diodes, installed but still not working. Found Fusible link was open circuit. It is now December 2019 and have at last managed to source fusible links so will have another attempt to rectify the problem. I just hate to be beaten by a piece of electronic junk. If I get it working will post further news

Came right away! Easy to use, had to go on YouTube to find recipes because none are included - just an operational manual. Very easy to clean. That was August 2016, now it's February 2017 and I have a different opinion! Last night while cooking a stew it just went DARK... as in no power. I double checked the power cord and sockets but the unit just failed. I checked the manual and there is no warranty information! It just says to contact the seller or go to a web site which does not exist. Suspect this is a SCAM PRODUCT... LOOK OUT! I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS.

I am a busy Mom and I don't have a lot of time to cook. I'm also concerned with the health of my family and want to make food that is fast and convenient. One of my friends mentioned pressure cookers. She informed me that food cooked in a pressure cooker retains most of their nutrients and taste better then other ways of cooking. At first I tried a popular brand on Amazon and it only lasted 6 months. I liked how it cooked the food but disappointed in the quality. So that is when I found the Modern Cooker! I love it! And so does my family. It is fast, efficient and easy to clean it is also a quality appliance that I feel confident in using especially with stainless pot. When I get home, no matter how late, I can have a healthy meal ready in a flash. I'm looking forward to trying more of the different options it offers.
