Why did it have to end this way...
I found this series browsing my local library last summer and instantly fell in love. At that time book 6 was the latest and I read the entire series within a week. I waiting for book 7 and loved it. And while searching to see when the next book would be out learned of Jennifer Rardin's death. I was horrified! Jaz was a character that I LOVED! She was a bad mouthed, ass kicking, no nonsense chick that would rather shoot first and ask questions later. She had a horrible past that haunted her every day, even when she finally accepts Vayl into her life. This book brought closure to the issues Jaz had been dealing with since traveling to Scottland.I've recommended this series to a number of friends and co-workers and they've all fallen in love with it as much as myself. My only issue with this being the last book of the series, is that it didn't seem to be written by Jennifer. It didn't seem to have the same flow as the rest of the books. Not that I'm saying it wasn't a good read, because it most certainly was. However I just got the sense that someone was trying to write in Jennifer's style rather than her own hand doing the penning.I've completely enjoyed the shorts that are being published on Kindle because I love the insight they give into various parts of the story and the characters. For me Scouting Jasmine was a wonderful look into Vayl's thought process and how he viewed her from even before the start of the series.I was really hoping for more books on the various character. Like E.J., I would like to have found out more about Bergman's past, Cole's and Cassandra's. Dave and Cassandra's baby, what's gonna happen ther? There's so many unanswered questions and so many potential story lines that could have been explored! Sadly, with Jennifer's untimely death no one will know what could have been.I love the books and will be enjoying them for years to come!

Great Ending to the Series
I loved all of the Jaz Parks books and am really sorry to see the series end. It did feel a bit rushed, but an excellent final book. I wish someone else could pick up the mantle and carry on the series so we could see Jaz working with Bergman, that would have been interesting. I loved all the characters in these books. How sad that the author died.

Great book, sad that it's the last
The final in the series, Jaz and the gang go on their last adventure to save Jaz from all the evil monsters. I enjoyed all of the books and was really sad that this was the last book and that the author died. Great read, highly recommend to any that like vampire spy adventures.

Jaz Parks Rocks
My first "knock em sock em" urban paranormal series and I love em. Jennifer Rardin got me hooked on this genre. And Jaz is my pick for the fantasy tough girl I most want to be. If you haven't tried this series - do.
