The Classic Albums of The Bay City Rollers on Bell / Arista Records
This package contains five of the original releases of The Bay City Rollers plus bonus tracks. Now, you may say, "Wait a minute...This isn't what we saw over in the United States", and you're right. The self entitled album that came out in the fall of 1975 that had the plaid quilt patch cover with a picture of the group right smack in the center you don't find in this package. You won't see an album called, "Rock 'n' Roll Love Letter", instead the album, "Wouldn't You Like It" appears with almost the exact same cover. Dedication doesn't have "Are You Cuckoo?" but has "Money Honey" and "Rock 'n' Roll Love Letter" instead. Also the hit single, "I Only Want to Be with You" was not part of the original album, but is included as a bonus track. The album "Rollin'" was released in the United States on Bell Records in 1973 but was not very well received. Most fans didn't come in the United States until 1975 and it only lasted for about 2 years. "It's a Game" was the last album that charted with hits. "Strangers In the Wind" didn't sell so well. I wish that album was in this package, it would have made it more complete. The five albums in this package is what sold huge all over the world. Yes, some songs seem to be missing, but what is here seems to be most impressive. I didn't care too much for "Are You Cuckoo?" anyway, so I don't really miss it. For the price, you can't go wrong. If you want more than just the hits, go ahead and buy this. It will be worth every penny.

Dream Come True Collection!
As an obsessed BCR fan, I owned (still do) all these on vinyl. After Ian's passing earlier this month, I went down a rabbit hole on YouTube watching BCR videos. Eventually it led me to this offering on Amazon. It took me about a half second to add it to my cart. $4 an album? No brainer. That's less than I paid in the 70's.For those who did not own the British imports, you will notice the songs are jumbled a bit, but nearly every song is there. So far I have only noted the lack of "Are You Cuckoo?" which is no great loss. Instead you'll get The Pie (When I Say I Love You) from the Strangers in the Wind, GREAT trade-off.This collection includes 15 bonus tracks that most American fans will not be familiar with, and some of them are fantastic! Some of these were non-album singles and their B-sides. If you don't know these songs, this set is a MUST have. Rock and Roll Honeymoon, All of Me Loves All of You, and a couple that are new to me, but they are already favorites, like Are You Ready for That Rock and Roll? and Bringing Back the Good Times. Those last two are eerily similar to songs by The Wiggles. I found myself wanting to point my fingers and do the twist. LOL. Guess there is a reason I like the Wiggles so much.Overall I will say this is the single best music purchase I've made in my life. Pure enjoyment. These songs are not brilliant, clever or ground breaking, but they bring joy to my soul, rhythm to my feet, and wonderful memories of obsessing over them to my mind.Did anyone else cry after hearing of Alan and Ian's passings? My heart is missing two large pieces.

Still Loving The Rollers β€
The CD box set is amazing, in that I received 5 CDs for a very low price. All the songs I loved, it has brought backs many happy memories of my childhood, when they were practically my whole world. However, I wish the CD set was in an actually box set, with pictures and lyrics. It would make for an even better collectors addition. I would have been willing to pay a little more for something I will treasure.I don't think Eric was given enough recognition! He wrote so many of their songs! They were/are all talented musicians who didn't get the royalties they deserved. If you still love the Rollers, definitely buy this! Great price and great to have in the car. My only wish was it could have been packaged a little better for collectors like me.

A Happy Blast from the Past
During my youth in the 70's, I owned all of the Bay City Rollers' LP's. And even though I still have those LP's, I haven't been able to play them in years because I do not have a record player. That being said, I was THRILLED to find this 5 CD collection of the first five BCR LP's. The songs are all there - just as I remember from my youth - plus a couple of additional bonus tracks that were not on the original releases. I have been playing these CD's like crazy - especially in my car. The music brings back great memories of a simpler, less complicated time when Eric Faulkner and Pat McGlynn posters were plastered all over my bedroom walls.I really love this set, and for the price, you can't beat it. Lots of musical entertainment at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend.

LOVED IT. Still love The Rollers after all these years.
LOVED IT!!!!!!! This collection brings back fond memories. As soon as I played the cd I started to sing along to every song just like it was yesterday. Even though I am in my early 50s when I heard "The way I feel tonight" I just melted, Les' voice still has that effect on me now as it did when I was a teenager. I am ready to break out the tartan again.

BCR classics, pretty basic but worth the money.
Although I was a Bay City Rollers fanatic as a young girl (and my parents didn't believe in giving weekly pocket money because we weren't that well off), I didn't get to own any of their albums (I didn't have my own record player) - the only way I could listen to them was regular trips to a friend's house, where we loved drooling over their pictures and my bag was to read details on the album covers, too - who wrote the songs, who produced them, where the albums were recorded, that sort of thing. There was one album of theirs I really loved best of all and, when I saw that it was part of this classic collection, I just had to buy it. The album was Once Upon A Star.It is the basic package but worth the money all the same.PS: Even though I am so chuffed to mintballs that, at last, I own this collection - there is that feeling of getting 'half the deal', hence the four stars instead of five. This is because what is sadly missing is a lot of those wee details I loved reading on their album covers as explained above. For the details that the record company managed to leave, I'd need a magnifying glass because the print is so tiny! They were probably thinking of economics etc. but there might be many like myself who would've been prepared to happily pay that bit extra for the full 'inlay book/card' details.

Once Upon a Star
This set contains all five of the classic Roller albums in mini LP style retro slipcases in an outer slipcase. None of the albums are gatefold (all of them were originally) and there's no inserts. There's no frills here at all. All the CD's have extra tracks (B-sides and single only releases). This is basically the Rollermania era Rollers in a single slipcase. If you're a fan looking to downsize, or someone looking to try them out, then this set is perfect and a bargain at the price.

Excellent I also bought The Anthology
Excellent I also bought The Anthology. Bought after watching program on tv and it has just taken me back to the 70's when I was a teenager and went to see them. When I listen to the words it reminds you what good song writers Eric and Woody were but at the time you don't realise. They were amazing its a shame they never made any money.
