A great tool for the sighted to really learn Braille- indispensable
I am a sighted person trying to learn Braille because my mother could no longer see well enough to read for the last ten years of her life, and if that happens to me, I would like to know Braille, so that I can still read. This board has been indispensable to me. It gives me the chance to feel the letters, unlike many books, where the raised dots are just filled in with black, and you can just see what the letter looks like and not feel them. Learning to feel the letters is the only way to learn Braille. The board doesn't have punctuation, but I got a book for that.

Numbers are not accurate; Not good for teaching braille
The numbers across the bottom are inaccurate. In order for them to read as numbers, the dots for J/0 must be in front of each number. Otherwise the bottom just reads J A B C etc...Not the best tool for teaching braille with that inaccuracy, and how low the raised dots are, but I just bought it as a decoration for my desk at work, where I process and transcribe braille material, so for that it works just fine.

Dots are too flat and hard to feel.
The dots on this board are very flat, which makes them hard to feel. This is my first braille board, so I'm not sure what it's supposed to be like, but this was very difficult to try and learn on.

Not big enough or deep enough
This is way too small for an adult. It also is, like many others said, not designed by a blind person. Everything needs to be larger with more space between each item. And it needs higher relief; more depth. I doubt that my newly blind husband can use this to learn Braille. I would see this more as a decorative item. Or for children to learn.
