Don't bother...
Stopped working after an Android update. I replaced this with a govee product that works 100 times better. I no longer recommend this sensor.Old reviewer: I was looking for a device to record outside temps while hiking / camping. This will allow me to fine tune my equipment...I received this temp. tracker and had a lot of problems getting it to work. It worked sporadically, stopped, and needed prodding. I finally gave up, took the unit apart, un-soldered the battery holder and soldered a new, better battery holder (For a CR2450). With this new set up, I have had amazing reliability. The unit is now responsive, tracks awesome and just works. It is sad that such a great device was paired with a poor battery holder. I will probably buy a second one and modify it as well. I will probably just vacuum seal it when I'm ready. That will provide a better temperature measurement, and some protection with reduced weight (For hiking). The App works perfectly, and makes the data easy to export. My feeling is that this device is really meant for someone that can handle a bit of high tech / math. But after making a few mods, I am very happy.I would have given this a 5 star review, except for the initial issue.

Decent, Inexpensive
I've had 2 of these for 2+ years. They are low cost loggers with decent battery life. If you want accurate it will cost you a lot more (2x for the logger +$100 for calibration)I compared these to a calibrated Lascar EL-USB-1 in a wine cooler after 24 hours of stabilization.Thermoco 1 was only 0.71 F higher.Thermoco 2 was 3.86 F higher.So.. unit to unit they are not consistent. But if you want ballpark (+/- 4 F) then these 4 will work fine. The biggest downside is that you cannot enter a correction factor. That would make these 5 star for the price.Pros:Responsive, Bluetooth is stable, Excellent battery life, even in Freezers, Decent but not great iPhone app.Consistent temp readings over time. (tracks will with calibrated loggers)Cons:Inconsistent unit to unit. No way to enter correction factors. Unless compared to a calibrated source, not accurate enough for wine cooler or refrigerators.

It's cheap. It's simple. It works.
This gadget is as simple as it seems and it works well. It is a tiny circuit board enclosed in an off-the-shelf plastic case that you twist open with a coin. It measures and logs temperatures and transmit them to your iPhone or Android smartphone via Bluetooth. The app shows you the current temperature and a graph of the log. It's cheap. It's simple. It works.Note that BATTERIES ARE NOT INCLUDED. You will need a CR2032. Bluetooth range is understandably limited. I put the device in my refrigerator and have to stand with my phone by the closed refrigerator door to use it. My unit did not work reliably out of the box (envelope actually), but a slight tweak to tighten the battery contacts solved the problem.

Cheap is as cheap does.
The temperature is off by 8 degrees to start. Eventually it settles in to about 2 degrees off. It does this every time I connect to it.I also have a WeatherHawk myBlue-T Bluetooth Temperature Sensor, Oval, White that works correctly every time. Sending the Thermoco back and sticking with the WeatherHawk.

Great thermometer. Monitor it wirelessly
Working great. Easy to use the app. I want to put this in my yeti so I can monitor the temperature without opening it up. I have not done this yet.
