Puddles!!!

As soon as I showed my grand-nephews and nieces the cover of "Puddles!!!", they all shouted "Bunnies!!!" and jumped on the couch to be read to. Throughout our reading, there was much discussion about how the bunnies and the monster felt about puddles, storms and the rainbow. An instant favorite was the new slug character, with it's expressive eyes and affectionate bunny friend. Once we read it together, I left the book with the oldest who read the book to the others several times again. Then they wanted to read "Bunnies!!!" again. These two books have become the family favorite. Mr. Atteberry, my niece wants to know if there will be more books - please!

Puddles! Bunnies!

Similar to Atteberry's "Bunnies!!!" book, we discover puddles. This should be a must read for every springtime full of puddles. Notes to make it even more fun for reading to your child: use a funny voice when you speak for the monster and sound really excited, count the animals together on the page, and ask you child to "find the butterfly" or "find the bush" to help with vocabulary. Great images and cute story! I recommend
