Micro-USB Rechargeable AAA Battery NiMH with Cables, 2 Pack

The Micro USB rechargeable batteries was a great invention. The dual charger was included in the packaging, the fact that I do not have to deal with a bulky charger is great. The are very much portable, I can take them anywhere and not worry about running out of juice. I received the AAA version of it, I have a gaming chair that requires a transmitter that uses AAA batteries so I will be using them for that purpose. I will definitely be ordering another set as well as AA batteries. When first charging them I thought I was doing something wrong. Could not get the micro USB charger to go into the charging port. Eventually found that the batteries had to be angled up in order to charge them. Charging time on the package states 5.5 hours. When fully charged the indicator lights go from red to blue. So far they have held up, I've been able to use my transmitter for about 3 days now, of course I turn it off while not in use, So about 3 hours of gaming so far. Will continue to use to see how long before recharge. Out of the package no need for charging on first use.Disclaimer: I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

I ordered both AA and AAA versions of this battery.The AA version works great. It's a brilliant idea and nicely executed. Would definitely buy again.The AAA version is a complete fail. The batteries are the WRONG SIZE, a little over 1mm shorter than a real AAA battery. That means they simply don't fit - the ends don't make contact - in devices that expect a normal-sized AAA battery.Very disappointed in the AAA version of this product. Such a good idea, wasted with bad implementation.

7/26/2016 Ordered AA batteries but Amazon screwed up yhe order as usual. However, do have a requirement for AAA batteries. Very sturdy in construction. By the (+)pole, yhere is a micro-USB slot. Two batteries/pkg, a single USB connector cable split into a "Y" shaped cables, charge 2 batteries/cable simultaneously. Tiny light changes color when charging to a full charge. Have my Goal Zero 7+ & Wagan 18W solar panels charging these batteries (4-6H).

Don't buy it, it's a waste of money. Concept is great, but the product is horrible. Batteries lose their charge very quickly and some are defective and don't get any charge.

I hate trying to find a charger though, so when I saw these, which I got at a discount in return for an honest review, I bought them.Not much to say about the batteries. They are batteries. The interesting part is the charging system. They come with USB ports which means they are perfect for desktop items such as a wireless mouse or keyboard. Battery life is what you would expect from a rechargeable battery. The best part of the deal is the charging cable- they ship with a 1 into 2 USB cable, which means you can charge both at once without taking up two charging ports or finding two cables to charge them. This is the kind of intuitive engineering that I appreciate!The cables are a bit tricky to get into the USB ports, however. I tried several times before I could get them plugged in. Since I plug in USB cables to micro ports hundreds of times per month, it shouldn't have been difficult. The metal shell seems to make the fit so that it only works if you hold your mouth the right way.

These are really great rechargeable batteries for the car. I got the AAA ones to keep in the car for the kids' car headphones. They take AAA batteries and they always run out at exactly the wrong time. It's annoying. I tried using the rechargeable eneloops but I don't have a good way of recharging them in the car. These solve that problem by recharging with the micro USB cables that I already have in the car all the time for other electronics.The only thing I don't like about these, is they don't have as much juice as even a normal off the shelf AAA. That means they don't last as long as a standard AAA battery. I think being able to recharge them makes up for that though. I recieved a small discount on these batteries for agreeing to provide honest feedback.
