I really like this Embryolisse Radiant Complexion Serum. I use it in the morning after I cleanse my face. I also put a moisturizer on top of the Serum. Then I apply my makeup. This Serum helps makes a nice smooth base for applying my makeup. It is very cooling when first applied. It has a very refreshed feeling and easy to absorb right into my skin. With the application, my skin feels and looks smoother. The scent is very light and pleasant to smell. It does not have the instructions on the box of how many pumps to use. I just use one pump of product and that seems to be enough to cover the entire face. (picture of one pump attached) Its ingredients include extracts of Lemons and Witch Hazel. Lemons help to clear your complexion and skin tone. Witch Hazel helps reduce skin inflammation and helps minimize the appearance of pores. In the description, it says that this Serum helps the skin to get ready for makeup. I wear makeup daily and this will be a great base to help my makeup to go on smoother with the moisturizer.

I know this seems pricey for 1 ounce of product but a little truly goes a long way. I like how quickly it absorbs into my skin and it works well when paired with a lightweight BB cream as well as my 'Too Faced' foundation, which is considerably heavier. I found that using a sponge to apply the BB cream or foundation over the serum worked best.I have also tried this as a base under another moisturizer with tinted sunscreen applied over both. Unfortunately, I found that the 3 products combined were no bueno as my nose looked extra greasy in just an hour or so. That's not the fault of this product at all. I suspect that this was the result of too many moisturizing products used at the same time.I am still messing around with this and it's in my rotation. I am relieved it didn't make me break out, like most products do.I also used this in conjunction with their concealer and was happy with that product as well.I hope my humble opinion helps you in some way.thank you for reading.

My initial thought when I first saw this Gel-like formula was “This looks like it’s going to be Sticky,” but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It applies so effortlessly and dries and absorbs into your skin immediately. I find that after it’s been absorbed into my skin, there’s a slight tingle and subtle tightness that occurs, but it’s not unpleasant. On the contrary, it feels good. It's non-oily and instantly smooths and softens, leaving a lovely matte finish. I opt to apply a moisturizer over it, but I also think it’s perfect as a makeup base.It has a very subtle and pleasant scent, which seems to be unique to the Embryolisse line, and I appreciate the easy-use Pump application bottle. It doesn’t appear to contain any harsh chemicals, and it’s a gentle formula, as I’ve experienced no irritation or allergic reaction.And only after a few days use, I’m noticing old acne scars and sunspots don’t seem to be as evident. I’m amazed! At the time of this review, though, I can’t comment on the long-term advantages, as I haven’t been using it long enough to find out. But I sure am loving it, so far!

I’m in my 50’s and have dry, sensitive skin. I apply a serum twice a day after cleansing and prefer serums that feel hydrating and comforting. Embryolisse Radiant Complexion Serum is a clear gel serum that has a moderately strong scent that smells floral to me. My skin absorbs it quickly, and it doesn’t leave any sticky residue. I follow with moisturizer and apply my makeup with no issues. This serum has sodium hyaluronate, which I look for in serums as it hydrates skin by holding in water and gives immediate benefits by plumping my fine lines. I do think my fine lines look a little less noticeable with this serum.But this serum isn’t comforting to my skin. Instead, it makes my skin uncomfortable as it burns and stings. I don’t get a rash, so my reaction isn’t severe but it’s unpleasant. This has sodium hydroxide or lye, which is corrosive and an irritant that causes severe burns in strong concentrations. I’m sure the concentration is lower here, but I still suspect it’s what makes my face burn and sting. Also, it’s highly alkaline and will disrupt the skin’s acid mantle over time, depleting the skin of natural lipids and affecting the ability to absorb products. The slight plumping effect is good, but this serum makes my dry, sensitive skin uncomfortable. 3 stars. Made in France.
