Everything we make is made of High Grade Aluminum. It will never rust or change color. Thickness of the metal is around 1/8" thick and even a 4 foot sculpture weighs less than 10 pounds. The Colors you see on all the artwork is applied by a process called Powder Coat. After the Sculpture is created, it is then positively charged and sprayed with different colored powders. We then put them into a huge oven and bake the color onto the metal. Providing a glamorous result with a sealed and protective coating. Weather it be Transparent Candy Colors or Opaque Textures, we can make and powder coat just about anything. Colors on the Mahi are: Transparent Shocker Yellow and Candy Blue. Mixed together and when baked in the oven, they create the green. Clear Powder coat over the entire sculpture.
