Located atop the front side of the bar is a depiction of Walking Liberty; where the bar has received its name. Walking Lady Liberty has been an iconic and prominent figure who has been featured on US Coinage for nearly a decade. First designed by Adolf A. Weinman for the Walking Lbierty Half Dollar in 1916, you may also recognize it as being very similar to that of the design located on the Silver American Eagle bullion coin which is produced by the US Mint today.
