These water exercise DVDs are wonderful. The instructor is easy to follow and the moves are shown both on land AND under the water. I bring an inexpensive TV/DVD combo to poolside with a small hand truck, then pop in the DVD. I keep the remote in a plastic bag and control the DVD from the side of the pool. At first, I had to watch the tv carefully while doing the exercises, but after a few repetitions, I can follow the exercises simply by listening to Laurie's clear instructions. It helps to review the DVD inside before trying it out in the pool the first time. Any questions about the exercises that I asked via email have been quickly answered by the next day, sometimes even the same day. Customer service is SUPERB!I had a total hip replacement 1 year ago AND a total knee replacement 6 months ago. Because of the painful joints I had become very sedentary and out of shape. I started with the mobility DVD and after a few weeks, got strong enough to workout with the KNEES & HIPS DVD. I got my Ortho doctor's ok to do the hip exercises because of post op hip precautions. Modifications are possible if post op restrictions are still necessary. Since I started using these workouts a month ago, my knee rehab has rapidly progressed and my balance improved enough that I no longer needed a cane to walk. I also get a nice aerobic workout.I am confident as I continue to use these exercise DVDs I will continue my recovery as well as lose more weight and tone my entire body.I

WeCoach 4 Exercise DVD
There are four disks in this set; each can be purchased separately, but it is more expensive that way. Three of the disks have two components, a water portion with two instructors, one by the side of the pool and another in the water, and a floor portion in another gym with another instructor. All of the water portion are 30 minutes long. The second portion varies from 8 minutes to twelve, depending on the DVD.The water exercises are fairly good, specific for the parts of the body specified on the label. However, the two instructors are not always in syncs, which leads to some confusion. There are a variety of moves demonstrated with both spoken instructions and a printed portion in the corner of the screen. From time to time there are suggestions to vary the routine by doing whatever the water and the music make you feel like doing, at out own speed and intensity. The second part is available on three of the disks and varies in length of time from 8 to 12 minutes. It consists of floor exercises in a gym led by another instructor. The exercises are predominantly bending and twisting and do not vary much from one disk to another. My group and Imdo them in the water. The problem lies in trying to access part 2. The DVD does not automatically move on to it. It must be done manually and is not particularly responsive to a DVD player remote control. It would probably be easier on a computer where you can move the cursor with a ,Ouse and click on part two. Once oart two has played through, it is necessary to remover the DVD and re-insert it to get to part 1.I would give the first part a rating of 3 1/2 stars because of the lack oF synchronization, probably due to poor editing. I would give the section part a lower rating because there is very little to it. It was probably intended to fill up space on the disk.

Just okay
I purchased these DVD's hoping to use them as a means to follow while in the pool. I have a TV outside and can see it, so I thought it would work fine. I watched the instruction prior to my first work out and thought that the on deck as well as pool views were very helpful. However, once I was in the pool, the sequence of moves changed very quickly and it was a little challenging to keep the pace and by the time I figured out what they were doing, it was on to the next move. I think over time it will become easier. Audio wasn't great. All in all, its okay.

Good exercises, not sure how to watch them while in the pool.
I watched all the videos and plan on doing them, but I also am not sure how to have my DVD player near the pool so it doesn't get wet. The exercises are 30-minute repetitive workouts that look good, but I would need to be watching and listening to the video while working out in the pool, and still haven't figured out how to do it.

This is going to be an amazing summer
I have only just watched them. I was waiting until the pool warmed up, now I have to recover from surgery. I know when I can they will be just the addition I need to my water aerobics program.
