This is a great little compact mirror with beautiful detailed pictures adorning the outside on both the front and the back. No two are alike so this is a unique and beautiful item for yourself or to keep on hand as a wonderful gift,The hinge seems well made and the clasp holds firm even when dropped (my son dropped it about 2 minutes after I opened it). I like that feature because it's less likely that it will open upon impact and break the mirrors inside. Be careful when closing it as it holds firm and you could potentially get skin caught in the middle.There are two mirrors inside- one with a regular reflective surface and another with a magnified mirror surface. This makes it excellent to keep in your purse for times that you need to fix your makeup while out or at home for a handheld compact to do tweezing or other things that need magnification.I received this product free or at a discounted rate for my fair and honest review.

I am absolutely thrilled with this mirror! I have several similar mirrors that I have collected over the years and this one is hands down the nicest. For starters, on the first side there is an elephant with his trunk up, which is supposed to mean good luck. Around the elephant there is several other small pictures such as a sun flowers and sea shells. Within the pictures there is small circles of shimmer, which to me, gives it a nice, girly touch! The second side is equally as awesome. There is a design that looks like a pinwheel or a flower and roses all around. It’s so shiny and also has a bit of shimmer. At the time of this review you received a random mirror, which was kind of scary to me because I’m a picky person, but I’m glad that I went ahead and ordered!This mirror is sturdy! Super sturdy, in fact! I have other similar mirrors and I’m always nervous just throwing them into my makeup bag, in fear that they will break, but with this mirror I wasn’t worried about it being damaged. In fact, my two young children were fighting over who got to hold the mirror and It ended up falling off of the sink and on to the bathroom floor, and there is no damage.The feature that this mirror has is a button to “pop” it open. This is nice because the others open like a compact and I always seem to struggle to get it open. When this arrived I was so excited to see what a great design it has. The silver ring is shiny and the design / craftsmanship is very high quality. The colors are very vibrant and the artwork clearly authentic and not mass produced.The mirror in the compact is also very beautiful -- it's flawless and has no scratches or imperfections around the edges where inserted. The hardware that allows you to open it and the hinge are high quality and durable so this will last for a long time. It also closes easily and gently so you will not ding up the mirror itself or damage the hardware.I love that the art work is unique and that they all do not look the same. It's a great conversation piece and would be great as a gift. It's a great size and would fit in nearly any purse allowing you to brag to your friends about how gorgeous it is.I received this product at a discount in return for an honest and unbiased review.
