Thanks **Q: All my work in oil base is this machine working with oil based** A: Out of the box, the ProX19 can spray most materials that can be cleaned with water or mineral spirits, including some oil based paint. Read the back of the paint can to see what is required for thinning/cleaning. Thanks **Q: How often should you change the pump?** A: Unfortunately there is no preventative MX on these pumps. Only change the pump when the pump stops working. Or when you discover that it is loosing strength/ power. Now always refer to you manual in the back it has a trouble shooting tree!! Follow it WHEN! Something goes wrong. Don’t just change a pump every 12 months. Could be a clogged tip! Could be the pressure is to low on and on I could go. If you run cheap paint with low quality sourced materials it will wear the parts out faster. Compared to let’s say 90$ per gallon paint. Again WHEN something goes wrong. Open up your manual go to the back and read the trouble shooting questions. If it says change pump then change it. However a pump with proper cleaning! Meaning you clean all of it after every job within 1 hour of work stopping or 2 days max if continuing the next day. Amd you use pump armor it could last for years and years or it could last for 2 weeks🤷‍♂️ Sometimes metals have micro cracks and NDI inspection could find it lol. **Q: I need a spray tip of .25 to .27 for the X7. Does Graco sell one?** A: Graco has one that is similar. I have been using a titan spray tip that is .27 in my graco spray gun.
