Quick delivery arrived just as I expected

This was a new install where a deadbolt was not previously on the door. The lock installed fairly easily. Instructions were not great but the installation was pretty standard and intuitive. Did not bother with the batteries the lock came with after reading reviews indicating that the batteries shipped with the product caused all kinds of issues with the scanner and the initial programming. It took 3 trys to get a successful master print scanned in and after that and with only 1 print scanned it works 98% of the time on the first scan, and if I did not put my finger in the right position, an adjustment unlocks on the second scan.I'm super impressed with only having 1 scan of a finger in and it working so well, I expected to have to have 10+ scan instances of several fingers to be able to easily open the lock 98% of the time. I do plan to save more scans so that if my finger is slightly off position it will still unlock on the first scan. At this point I've been using the lock a couple of times a day for around a month.From a security perspective I do not believe this is any more secure than a standard deadbolt you can purchase from a big box store which are more of a deterrent than anything else, or even perhaps less so and then maybe more on par with the keypad deadbolts which are about connivence vs. security. If you are looking for something cool, keyless, convenient, then this is for you, but not if you are looking for high security. If you want security get a Abloy or some other deadbolt that is designed to be drill/pry/bump/lock pick proof.
