Cards made of real wood are all the rage and for good reason. Not only are these cards beautiful but they are environmentally friendly too. Whether you want to wow your guests or leave a smaller carbon footprint, these cards are a win-win. Standard paper making processes use more resources than micro-veneer cards. Regular paper uses harsh chemicals, water and significant amount energy. A single log can produce thousands of raw wood cards. Each card is .06 millimeters (.025 inches) thick and completely unique, both front and back. Thick enough to be sent as a postcard, wedding invitation or for a small woodworking project these cards are as versatile as they are beautiful. These can be cut with regular scissors, a craft knife or electric cutter. They can take paint, varnish, inkjet, marker, paint pens, really anything you would use on paper. Just like paper, however, ink can bleed, so be mindful of that.
