Being a Green Mother (Incarnations of Immortality Book 5)

A great Book! A series that everyone should read. It mixes myth, factual history and sci-fi together elegantly linking all the books of the series together telling the same story in each book, but from different character points of view. I'm just sad that Kindle has yet to release the entire series, while saying there's only 5 books to the series. There are actually 7... and now 8 with the last book being about Nox. The missing books, books 5 "FOR LOVE OF EVIL" is the story of Satan. Book 6 "FOR ETERNITY" is about the role of God and how the world elects a replacement to replace the absentee God. For Love of Evil is my favorite of the entire series, though I love them all.

Orb spent her life searching for the magic song of the Llano. When she meets Natasha, she feels as if she’s met her match. She begins to become more than a musician as she becomes more enmeshed with the Llano.This is my favorite of the series. I like how everything in the other books comes together in this book. Although I truly hate the name Orb (really- how stupid a name is this?), I really do like her character. I still don’t like the misogyny that is so prevalent in Anthony’s books, but I’m able to look past it a little in this book. My biggest complaint with this book, though, is how he didn’t name the members of the band- it smacks of laziness on the author’s part.

I often read a lot of reviews before reading the book these days. That wasn't always the case. I used to read the summary and then decide if it wad worth investing my time. Of course in my opinion, they are all worth my time in one way or another. You can learn something from even the most poorly written works. Since most of my reading its now digital I find myself reading the reviews and some of them are highly entertaining in and of themselves. This author receives reviews that encompass highs, lows and everything between. I think what I enjoy most about this series is that it encourages the pursuit of higher understanding, stretching not only your imagination but your values, thoughts and beliefs as well. I feel s encouraged to explore many of these complex issues in my own imperfect way. I only wish the rest of this series were digital as well

All the books in this series I have read over and over I am just sad books 6 and 7 are not available on ebook at the moment. The only books I can find are in a library and they are currently closed for the foreseeable future (Covid-19) I love this world of Incarnations

This is another installment in the series and if you have gotten to this novel than you must be hooked with the series. The interesting thing about all of the novels is how Anthony interconnects all of the characters. While some of the plot elements might seem to repeat themselves slightly, the character development and interaction is what kept me so interested as it was quite well done.

This is an e-book, reviewing the content would be completely subjective. The download went off without a hitch.

I bought this and another book in the series as I had the first three and loved them. This is SO boring I have tried 3 times to read it and just cannot get through it, which is a shame as I have the next book that I can't read without finishing this.

This book was wonderful. I couldn't put the Kindle down. I loved the way the story was worded and where things went. Ending was not expected and it still was great.There was nothing I disliked about the story. I would give this book an A++ grade.I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a fantasy book. Even to those who just want something to distract themselves with.Once you start this book, I'm better sure, you will not put it down.

Awesome book. Both my fiance and I love the Incarnation series.

A dull conclusion to the series, Being a Green Mother did not live up to the hype generated in earlier stories about Nature being the strongest of the Incarnations. The story plodded along, with trivial character interactions and no real development of the main protagonist. The book was nearing completion when the main character finally assumed her position, and the only thing she did with her considerable power was destroy the world. And then, the one who saved it was another one of the Incarnations, not even the main focal character of the story. To me, this felt like a significant let-down - but at least there was no building interest in the outcome, as I had lost interest in the plot several chapters earlier.The only item of amusement was the ongoing growth of the ties between the characters.

I've read this before and didn't have the book anymore but getting the kindle version is a way to have it back with less weight.

The book condition wasn't exactly as described (had a little more wear and tear on it) and the actual delivery date fell just outside the estimated delivery date (later than the stated range). However, you can't beat the price of the product!
