Delfonics: Live in Concert

Do not waste your money. Some groups are better left in the past .....and this is one of them. There are two performances on this DVD: a longer performance; and a shorter performance introduced by Jimmy "JJ" Walker from Good Times which was the better of the two. The first performance was down right painful to watch. When the 1st song concluded literally no one in the audience clapped. Back in the day the lead singer was a young man with an impressive falsetto voice. On this dvd decades later the lead singer struggled painfully to hit those challenging notes. It was almost funny if it wasn't so painful to watch a 60-70 year old man speak in a baritone voice then attempt to switch up to a high pitch falsetto. The second performance (JJ Walker) was more professional with different back up singers. ....one was the brother of David Ruffin (Temptations)....I would have rather seen more of him instead....much better voice and stage presence. Do Not Waste Your Money.

This was the worst live performance that I have seen. They have gotten older and the voices are really gone. Did not like...have not return it yet, but I will be returning this DVD...

This has got to be the worst DVD I have ever bought. It's so bad I feel sorry for him. The twins are awful just awful. They can't sing they can't dance. David Ruffin's, brother is on the bonus part he sounds better than any of them but still not great. Save your money Amazon needs to start letting you hear some of all the live concerts.

この手のリバイバルの映像って全盛期のイメージ的妄想が強すぎて大半はガッカリするが何度か見てると「まあ　これも有りか」って納得するんだよね　でもこのシリーズってボーカルはともかくバックも酷いんで納得しようがないもんなあ　１０回位見たら催眠にかかって良くなるのかのかなあ
