I bought this because I was going to be doing a lot of traveling in the coming year. I took it on one trip (that was 8 days) and it rocked, but a few months later I took it on a 2 and a half week trip and my third prong piece stopped working, and the entire adapter kept falling out of the outlet on my SECOND DAY THERE. Would not recommend.

I put it to the test during a European 12 day trip with 2 other people. It performed miracles, charging not just my phone but my family's as well. I even had it charging 2 smartphones and used a straightening iron while they were charging. It was also a lifesaver in the airport, where outlets are at a premium, charging my phone, tablet, and charge stick all at once. Can't wait to plan more trips with this.

This adapter worked great. I was able to keep my phone and my selfie stick charged and ready to take pictures or call my family.I would recommend it.

Tried to use this in Paris for the first time and US part is broken. Plug won't go in easily and if you force it it just pops out again. I never thought to test that part. It's useless since I need my US plugs converted

Used two of these for our trip to Paris They worked perfectly, are well made with a solid feel.I can vouch for the circuit breaker function: it works, and it prevented damage to the device plugged in AND the plug still functioned fine.We will be taking them on future trips.

We travel all the time and somehow we seem to lose these darn things all the time. So when asked to review one, sounded right up my alley!First, this is a $15 International Plug Adapter. That's what they claim and is exactly what it is.You can take your 110v phone charger or blow dryer to most other countries that also use 110. This adapter has the various outlet size/shaped plugs needed to enable you to plug in your US style device and use it. Changes your plug style.It does NOT convert voltage though. If your device is 110 and you travel to a city that uses 220. This plug does NOT convert the voltage and do NOT recommend using it. You must use a voltage converter in those locations along with a plug adapter such as this!!!!!It is very simple to use and figure out. It has all the various style plugs in this. By looking at the wall in the country you are in, you will be able to tell by visual which shape you need. Pull it out. Plug it in. Then plug YOUR device into this block. Simple as that.Other than the plugs folding into the block and coming back out to use them, there is nothing on this to worry about not working down the road. Nothing electrical about it. No batteries ever. Nothing more than plug and play.The quality is descent. Not top of the line high quality. But if you travel once or twice a year internationally, this would be more than fine and could last you a lifetime. Unless you need a voltage converter.
