Beveled edge is good for corners
"soft head" not really. More like skate wheel material. I was expecting it to be more jelly like/softer. It does work well on outside corners to crease and encourage the paper to wrap. Wouldnt use it on anything delicate. Vinyls only. Good value for price.

I finally got to use this tool as I finally applied wallpaper to my den walls. I'm not sure the tool proved useless because I am new to hanging wallpaper or because the tool doesn't insure your seems disappear using this tool.The main problem I had with this tool, as I rolled along the the seems, the tool left its own mark as the roller has a divot along one side that pushes wallpaper out and causes a bubble that then has to be ironed out.Maybe it's me or maybe it's a useless tool.
