This is a good idea in theory, I just think the execution was not well thought out. Bought these for my two teenage boys to encourage them to make their own rolls when I decide to treat them to a homemade sushi day. The resulting rolls were quite large and loose, making them challenging to make clean cuts. These just arrived yesterday so maybe with a little more practice we may find some tricks to make it more workable.**Update 7-11-16 - After the boys have used this a couple of weekends in a row, they are liking it more. The key for them is to use only the "v" shaped bottom so the rolls aren't so large and loose. Still haven't tried out the small square mold.

We were just blessed with a new great grandson. To celebrate this exciting event we made a barbecue in our backyard. For my husband no party is complete without sushi. A week before the barbecue, out came our new Kitchen Boosterz Sushi kit. We had a sushi making trial run. The results were amazing. The instructions and pictures were clear and easy to follow. At the barbecue the sushi made a great hit. The different shapes addedpizzaz to the presentation. We are now known as the sushi chefs of the family. i bought this sushi making kit for my wife, she entertains a lot and she was looking for something that looks professional and and tastes good. well i bought this and WOW! this product far surpassed her expectations. this is some thing that she loves and she is not embarrassed to have on her table. it makes professional looking sushi for the regular homebody. and the best part of it is that is a quick and easy preparation and an even quicker cleanup. i am happy and satisfied with my kitchenboosterz sushi kit i'm sure you will be too! happy serving

All of the pieces are sturdy and well made. Would be better if there was a DVD with step by step instructions and or tips.

My wife and I have made sushi with this set many times. It has the components needed, but serious chefs (or just sushi enthusiasts) will likely want something else. This is good enough for the casual sushi eater.

I started to learn to make sushi and have been very happy with the product, using the molds they come out very easy and shaped right, clean up is even very easy to just put in the dishwasher. I am no master but have been able to save a lot of money making my own sush.

The heart shape molder results in a triangle shape sushi instead of heart shape. I haven't tried making sushi with the nori inside and the rice outside (which I found more challenging), so let's see if these tools can help.

This kit works great! The first roll I made wasn't that good, the second was a little better, but he 3rd and 4th came out perfect! I totaled it up and one entire roll costs me $1.20! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to make sushi at home.
