Duramake 2" x 50" Titanium Exhaust Header Shield wrap for motorcycle pipe insulation.
I have installed the shield myself and it not only looks good but it really keeps the pipe from being too hot since I have straight pipes on my bike. The instruction booklet was helpful but more instructions would be good. One side of the the wrap can be stretched and one side is pretty sturdy. I learned that the sturdy part is supposed to be under or should be wrapped towards the end to have a perfect tight installation. The rubber glove was helpful for your hands only but not so helpful with your upper harms, chest or thighs. I was itching like hell after I installed the wrap. I looked up for extra help on youtube and learned that you don't have to soak Titanium wraps. I guess whe I cut the wrap thats when little micro particles of the wrap flew in the air and and landed on my arms, neck, thighs (I was wearing shorts coz it's hot here in the Phils.) and I was itching for 2 days, showered with hot, cold water. I could not stand the itch for 2 days and decided to get a knife with a wide blade, got in the shower, soaped-up and start running the blade of the knife against my skin where it itched. After that first aid I just performed, I felt a lot better with a few knicks here and there though! WARNINGS about the material could have been helpful!!! My bike looks awesome with the looks of the wrap. I would order another for my car in the future! Thanks for the nice green sticker DURAMAKE! Looks good on the fairing of my bike. 2 stickers should have been included for both sides of my bike...ha ha! Great item!!

Great but itches. Be careful wrapping your pipes.
It makes your arms and hands itch like crazy so make sure you wear long sleeves and gloves. Over all function is pretty legit. I thought it was going to be garbage for the price but it works fairly well. In my case I wrapped my 3" down pipe before installation. No idea of the actual size but this was enough that I had a bunch left over and I didn't skimp on the wrapping. I wrapped the pipe pretty tight and tightly spaced. The metal zipties are trash but it is what it is. They send you a couple extra I believe and I used all of the ones sent to me because I broke 2 just trying to tighten them.. second it will smell like burning paper or clothes for a few days so don't freak out, Keep that in mind if you've never wrapped an exhaust before. The material hardens and forms with the pipe. I've had it on for about a week so I may update if my car explodes in flames or something because of it but I doubt it. Just buy it you're not going to find anything cheaper than this that has decent reviews with it.

Not sure if I notice a difference.
Seems to work for what it's intended to. I've road my motorcycle more than once did the burn on it, but it still has a little burning smell every time I ride. Also if you're thinking this is going to protect you like a heat shield. It won't, it doesn't protect from getting burned. The exhaust still gets hot, it just insulates it more so the heat stays where it needs to. It's more of a minor performance enhancer then anything. I'm not sure if I noticed any real difference yet. However a lot of people say these exhaust wraps are awesome. So I got it just because of hearsay. I have to admit this one looks better than other people's raps that I've seen, when they use the fiberglass ones. Although I've had a really bad cough for about 2 months now ever since the day I installed it. Not sure if it's a coincidence but be careful when installing.

Looks very good. Easy install
Looks very good. Easy install. Used to wrap Bub's pipes on 2002 Road Star (Yamaha) Warrior. Keeps the heat off my right leg, while foot down at stop lights, MUCH better than the prior fiberglass stuff I had on before. Hope it holds its color. Rode for a couple hours after installing with no problems or looseness. Straps appear to be Chinese based on the lettering on their package, and couldn't find anything that told me where the wrap itself is manufactured. Good product after a week of ownership, and for the price I can re-wrap every year. Though others have said that this stuff doesn't itch, it did make my hands and wrist itch, but not nearly as much as the prior fiberglass stuff. I didn't wet this to install, but did wear nitrile gloves which tore (as always).

Easy to use and didn’t have to soak product first
Product was great I could’ve used a couple more ties straps though but made my 86 shadow first generation look amazing thank you for the quick delivery and great price will be buying more products from This company Just wish they would’ve gave him a little more pros and cons with this product then just pros keeps my bike at a very high temperature not sure if I should take it off now seems like an 80° weather my bike runs extremely hotter than it ever has

It does what it's supposed to do.
My boyfriend asked me to order this and when I asked him what he thought about it so I could write a review he said, "It does what it's supposed to do." In guy-talk I'm pretty sure that's high praise. We had to order more of the stainless steel zip ties because the amount they give you just isn't enough to keep the wrap on tightly if you are doing a larger job. We cut it with both a sharp pocket knife and scissors but both methods ended up with very frayed edges. I don't think there's anything that can be done about it, but I would recommend only cutting it when absolutely necessary.

it works
it works, i would say its a good value wrap... but it doesnt come with as many of the metal zip ties as i would have liked, i was making compromises and not securing as well as i would have othewise.that being said, this was not a big enough issue to prevent me from reordering for another project bike.

My NEW recommended Titanium Wrap source
This is an excellent product at an incredible price. The seller is quick to ship and responsive. Seriously, save yourself some money. You'll be getting an equal or better product at a much better price and FAST. I'll buy this again for my headers when the time comes. I bought these for the turbo downpipes on a couple of projects I have in the shop. It's also great they sell it as a package. The last time I bought a competitors product, I had to buy the wrap and the stainless ties separately...
