The hammock rolled up in its bag look really small but don't let that fool you. Once I took it out it was huge. It came with two ropes ,two carabiner, the hammock with the carrying bag attached to it so you don't have to worry about losing it. They all were made of good quality materials, nothing felt cheap. The seams on the hammock were good with no strings loose. I hung it onthe frame of an old porch swing and my wife and I sat on it. I didn't hear any stress noise from the ropes,carabiner, or hammock. Together we're only 320 pounds. We couldn't lay down on it because the two posts were to close together, but it's big enough to lay comfortably. The seller also offers the straps at discount when you purchase the hammock and the straps at the same time. We're going to Florida in a couple of months and that's where we will test it out againand add pictures. Strong and well made hammock that takes minimal space when traveling. I really like the functional portability of this hammock and am excited about taking it to the lake and on other trips throughout the summer. It is very lightweight and doesn't have to be packed perfectly to get it back in the bag. The two tone color - I ordered blue - was vibrant and pleasing to look at, especially with the hammock straps (sold separately) that have blue thread that coordinates nicely. To be clear, this hammock comes with the hook and basic rope pieces that you need to hang it, but hanging is much easier, quicker, and more versatile with the longer hammock straps.The attached pocket that everything packs into hangs down when the hammock is strung up and becomes a handy place to stash contents of your pockets, especially things like keys that could become puncture risks when lying on the tightly stretched hammock.Overall, I'm very pleased with this product, however I do feel a few things could be improved upon. First, it should come with basic instructions for first time use. I didn't end up using the enclosed ropes, but I wouldn't have had any idea of how to tie them up properly with a not that wouldn't come out. Second, I do wish the bag that it folds into would have been just an inch bigger on each side. While I can get it back into the bag with my hammock straps also without too much trouble, the bag doesn't close tightly, making me concerned that eventually the straps might work their way out and get lost. Lastly, while it was comfortable for one person and was even like a cozy cocoon if you wanted it to be, I would not have two people on it unless you really wanted to snuggle up to the second person. Even though there is sufficient fabric width-wise, because of how the ends come to a point, it really wants to fold the sides in and force you to the middle.I can't speak as to durability because I haven't had it very long. I also only tested the weight up to about 300 pounds, so I can't verify the claim of holding upwards of 500 pounds. I guess a lot would depend on the strength of the trees are attached to.I posted this review after receiving this product for testing at a discount, but I rely on reviews as much as any other Amazon shopper to spend my money carefully and wisely, so you can trust that my review is unbiased and honest - and hopefully  contains some bit of information that proves helpful to fellow careful buyers!We will definitely make use of this product for fun and relaxation, and I plan on keeping one of these hammocks in my emergency preparedness bag as well.

When I purchased this hammock I thought it would be a lower grade construction and not as good as some of the big box store ones, but i was wrong!This thing is amazing! It comes in a small pouch with a drawstring closure that is part of the hammock so you will never lose the carrying bag. It doubles as a nice pocket to put your keys, book, or sunscreen in my case. Whats even better is that this is wide enough and strong enough to hold two people comfortably. I chose to sit in it sideways with two people like a swing and the width allowed you to lay back and put your head down.Room to lay out longways! I had plenty of room to lay out longways and in fact I had so much room I was able to scoot back towards the end to kind of sit up to read a book. Due to the width of the hammock it did tend to wrap around you like a burrito, to counter act this I simply put my feet on the edges and held it open. This burrito effect can come in handy however when the sun gets too hot and you need a little shade on your legs. This was definitely built for two people side by side, but with a little positioning is perfect for one.Breathable and cool! I left the hammock for a couple hours in direct sun and jumped back in, cool as if it were in the shade! Laying in it you never sweat from the material and it wicks away moisture.Supplied Tree Straps: This was the only negative, it comes with rope to tie around the tree, I recommend getting the deal with the tree straps that are easy - adjustable loops to make it whatever length you need.This hammock was probably one of the best purchases I have made for outdoors equipment and I am very happy with the quality of the stitching and material used. Again I recommend getting the tree straps to make it an easy and painless process for putting it up quickly so you can get to relaxing! I received a discount for a fair and honest review.

I love this hammock! It is so comfortable, it fits 2 adults easily. I never felt squished or like it was going to break. It was very easy to assemble and put up. It's nice to be able to curl up with a book and relax. I would recommend this hammock to anyone looking to do the same, it's a great addition to other outdoor activities.
