Great for night time grilling
good magnetization, light brightness is great - just what we needed for grilling when it's dark out.

stopped working after one use
Bought because of the numerous positive reviews but was very disappointed.When mounted to hood of my gas grill they got extremely hot to the touch then stopped switching on reliably after one use. Not sure where else I am supposed to mount these where they will both serve the purpose that I bought them for and somehow not be exposed to heat. The contacts may have been mucked up a bit by greasy smoke or been heat damaged but - again - its hard to imagine a use for these that does not involve heat and smoke exposure.

Small but bright and good magnets.

Will not stick to stainless because stainless is a nonferrous metal.
Love the brightness but needs a clamp to stick to my stainless grill shelf.

Too Weak by Far
Putting both lights on the same side of the grill will light an area that covers maybe a 12” circle. These lights might make a nice glovebox light or maybe a toolbox light but they are useless for the grill and even worse for a Blackstone griddle.
