Strong steel covered with a soft silicone. Perfect for non-stick pan and skillet coatings with plenty of back bone and a soft, non-marking touch. These silicone coated stirring and spreading pieces have replaced my wood utensils as they do not require special treatment. I can throw them in the dishwasher rather than hand washing the wood pieces to preserve them. I still have the wood utensils, but they are display pieces now and not used. None of the La Mieux silicone utensils have cracked, broken, torn or melted and all look new. While many things will stick to the silicone, it's much easier to clean than wood.

I love using these silicone utensils for cooking. They are very heat resistant. I love that the set includes a narrow spatula, which many sets do not. the only downside is that they get a white film on them after washing in the dishwasher. The film rubs off with a damp cloth, but I would prefer that they not get filmy in the first place. Aside from that, I am very pleased with this set.

These are very good quality and seamless, which is appreciated. They have weight and are very comfortable in the hand.. One minor problem: I discovered that they become water spotted when they go through the dishwasher. That is a problem easily solved, as I will wash them by hand from now on.

They work good. The ends of them bendy. I don't like that. The metal inside only goes about an inch from the top and so the silicone is flimsy which is kind of annoying. Other then that they work well.

Finally, the perfect tools for nonstick surfaces. I love these! Especially the tiny spat-awesome. They are firm and not flimsy. They don't melt in a hot skillet like nylon spatulas do when scrambling eggs and that makes me happy. I will only use these now. I've tossed out all others. Wish I had found these sooner. I actually looked all over for something like this and couldn't find until now. I will only use these now.

The color of these spatulas are incredible. They are the perfect blue. Each one serves a purpose. The only negative is the post is shorter than the actual handle.

One of the reasons to enjoy cooking with these tools is that they feel "solid" in your hand because of the metal core construction. The slender design of the handles allows them to fit easily into our counter top utensils container. The shape and size of the spatulas etc. themselves are very effective. These are exactly what the cooks in our house needed, a very good purchase indeed!

So far, we really like these. We had previously bought a set with plastic handles that could be separated from the scraping ends, but they all broke. At that point, we decided to get steel tools with silicone covering and these came up in our search. We're quite pleased with them and would readily recommend them.
