STAR WARS: KANAN VOL. 2 - FIRST BLOOD

A great read

This edition continues the story of Caleb Dume's early days in the Jedi Temple. Here we see more of Depa Billaba's story and how she chose young Caleb. Both were ideally suited to each other. Her military campaigns did not always end well and here we see Caleb's first kill. I love the framing Rebels story built around it as well. Kanan's past connects to his future in more ways than one. If you enjoy this wonderful character, be sure to read A New Dawn from John Jackson Miller for the story of how Kanan met Hera.

I love that this comic takes place in the Clone Wars era. My favorite Star Wars comics were the ones that are now Legends that took place during this era. Depa Billaba is featured in this book and its so cool to see her interacting with Kanan. Depa doing the tests blindfolded was really cool.There is a lot of action in this book. The art style is perfect for it.Of course, there are references to other Star Wars characters. Rae Sloane!!! And I thought I saw the younglings from the Clone Wars tv show, but I may have been mistaken. The crew of Rebels also appears and they are drawn more realistic.I give this book a 4/5. I definitely recommend it to Star Wars fans of the tv shows Clone Wars and Rebels.

Continuing the origin of Kanan Jarrus this is a must read for fans of the Star Wars Rebels animated series. This volume is written well and the art is excellent. Well worth the price of admission.

I really enjoyed this series. It had a story, developing characters, and emotional depth. My only hang up with it is that it seemed somewhat short and the action scenes where not shown in as much detail as I would have liked. Still, it is a great story, and together with The Last Padawan Volume 1, fills in some of the gaps of Kanan Jarruus' past. I recommend it for anyone who is a fan of either Rebels or the Clone Wars.

I never expected this to be one of my favorite comics but it really is, Kanan is such an interesting character and volume 2 is just as great as volume one. I'm not actually the biggest Star Wars Rebels fan but if there's one thing about it I do like it's the characters and Kanan has honestly become one of my new favorites in the Star Wars universe because of this comic

I really like Star Wars Rebels TV Show and season 2 was awesome and Kanan is my favourite character in the series and I am very enjoying reading his comic I would definitely request you to read it the only part that mad me sad that it only lasted 2 volumes I wish there was more :(

The comic was great. The process to find it and then learning that all of the comics could be found in one volume was and continues to be terrible for a prime customer using a kindle fire.

Le Guerre Stellari ci accompagnano da quasi 50 anni. Tra trilogie e spin-off cinematografici, televisivi e a cartoni i fan di questa galassia lontana lontana hanno avuto di che divertirsi. Qui abbiamo una delle innumerevoli storie a fumetti che soprattutto negli ultimi 2 decenni (sfruttando anche il dipanarsi della trama principale cinematografica) hanno dato origine a innumerevoli trame e sottotrame, sviscerando anche personaggi minori, "riempendo" buchi nel racconto (cosa e' successo tra l'uno e l'altro film ?). A suo tempo in Italia era uscita una collana in grande formato che traduceva una parte di questi fumetti. Se l'argomento vi appassiona potete (ri)leggerli in originale in formato kindle in offerta.

Love reading about Kanan and learning more about his background and his Padawan days. The art was fantastic as well.

Good story, perfect for Star Wars fans
