Single users are forced to buy this particular subscription if you want to use your equipment. No lower tier/ individual plans anymore. Really poor service. ### ⭐ Buy Expensive Equipment, Denied Use Without Monthly & Ever Increasing Payment *by D***L on November 29, 2025* Bought a very expensive piece of Norditrack/iFit exercise equipment. The equipment itself has its own problems, but the iFit membership is worthy of its own review. First, you can barely use your machine without it. You can run on a generic, graphic "track" (a 1980s graphic of an oval) but even then, before and after each work-out, you get an advertisement to "upgrade". The iFit exercise videos themselves are hit and miss, often with an overly zealous trainers talking too much while obliviously walking over the flowers and across the statues of the foreign country landmarks. So just go for a jog or ride without the trainer? Nope, not an option. You're stuck with a trainer blocking your view for a vast majority of your workout -- there's no way to actually go on a quiet jog by yourself. Finally (not really finally, there's alot more), but be forewarned that iFit has done so not-so-honest juggling of membership plans, so the lower priced membership (~$15/mo or ~$140 year) doesn't even allow you to use the videos -- back to that 1980s-graphics oval for you! Now you gotta pay for the MORE expensive membership if you want videos... on the machine you purchased. with that HD screen... but alas, not without paying ever-increasing monthly or yearly fees. Avoid companies that hold your own equipment random.
