Plush, Reversible, 3' x 5' SUPREME HOLD(TM) Felt/Rubber Rug Pad adds PREMIUM PROTECTION on Hard Surfaces and Carpet

We purchased this reversible rug pad after moving into our new house with real hardwood floors. The goal was both prevent our area rug from slipping and also to protect the floor from the rough backing on the area rug. This rug pad does a great job staying in place on the floor and there is only a little bit of movement from the area rug on top (normally due to my two young boys running around the house like crazy). And, for protection, after living in the house for two years and using this pad for two years, I can't tell any damage from the rug pad area compared to the floor around it. The only reason for 4 stars is that the rug pad was not a perfect 3' x 5' rectangle. After putting the area rug on top, the rug pad was visible in areas along the edges and it was impossible to line the two up perfectly. Our solution was to trip down the rug pad in the areas where it was visible. Works perfectly now....again 4 stars only due to needing to do a bit of extra "work" to the rug pad after receiving.

So, far, the product is about 80% effective. I still have to move the area rug, on occasion, to its right position on the carpet. But, it's much better than before.For what it's worth, the location of my area rug, and this product, is a high-traffic area, and I estimate it is stepped on about 30 times per day. The product makes the area rug more plush when you step on it, BUT...I did not buy the product to increase the comfort when it's stepped on. I bought the product solely to keep the area rug from shifting (moving) from its intended place on the carpet.If requested, I'll re-review, later, after I've owned it for several months.

It's Wonderful for the place I have it.- But, I thought the colors were a little brighter.

Had to add double-sided tape between it and the rug and it still moves on carpet. Not as much, though. Afraid to put tape between the pad and our new carpet, so just move it back to position daily.

I am very pleased with the felt/rubber rug pad. I has met my expectations! It isvery comfortable to stand on/walk, protects my Persian rugs and also my floor. The qualityis very good and I would recommend it to anyone.

Yes, it's always great when you can find a product that even exceeds your wife's expectations!My wife is a real shopper, and was ecstatic over this rug pad. I was thrilled with the price and rapid delivery, I guess that means we were both very happy with the whole transaction!

Does not keep my rug from crawling over the wall to wall carpeting. : (

Exactly what I was looking for and trims easily to the size you need. Thickness is perfect and adds plenty of cushion to the rug. Would definitely recommend.
