A complete game changer for your iPad
This product is great. Talk about a complete game changer. I sold my laptop. I have no reason to keep it. The iPad, now fully equipped with this keyboard and trackpad, does everything I would ever need a laptop to do. But now, it functions just like a normal computer, if I need to. This Logitech trackpad and keyboard case works perfectly. it installs itself. It’s got excellent shortcuts, and the feedback from the keyboard and trackpad is phenomenal. The keyboard and trackpad with the iPad inside of it still weighs only 2 pounds. I can bring it wherever I need to go and don’t need a separate laptop bag to log everything together. it’s got a great holder for my Logitech crayon and it works perfectly. If you are serious about being able to take full advantage of your iPad then you need to get one of these. I do have an update. I have returned this keyboard because the Apple magic keyboard offers functionality and response that this product does not offer. And for somebody like me who has transitioned to using his iPad for all purposes, and no longer uses a laptop, having the best keyboard makes all the difference. The fact that you can stick the iPad and it magnetically adheres to the backing and then tilt your iPad like a traditional laptop is awesome. I felt that while the trackpad on the Logitech product is sufficient, it could be better. The Logitech does not offer some of the shortcuts in the top row that apple's version does. I know that this product is significantly cheaper, but if you are serious about your iPad and use it all the time, then you need to go with the best.

I Love, Love, Love This, Especially Compared to Older Logitech Designs
I received an iPad Air 4th Generation for Christmas, and I needed a keyboard case as soon as possible because I planned to take it with me on a trip. Since I used a Logitech Air keyboard for my older iPad, I gravitated toward this. I wasn't willing to pay the premium price for the Magic case that Apple sells, but I still needed something durable and easy-to-use. This keyboard case is everything I had hoped for -- and more. Note: Make sure you order the one for your model since this product page is for both iPad Air and iPad Pro models. I love that I don't have to charge the keyboard since it runs off the iPad's battery, using the contact points created for the Magic keyboard case -- that was my biggest surprise. The magnetic flap keeps the case securely closed and can be flipped back behind the iPad when the case is open. The stand in back props it up (in landscape mode only.) When the case is closed the flap magnetically folds flat against the back. The touchpad works perfectly, and the function keys work as expected. I especially like that I can return to the home screen without swiping up -- I just have to press a button. The only aspect I don't like -- and it's not enough to deduct even a half-star -- is how wobbly the connection between iPad and keyboard is when I place it on my lap. Older Logitech keyboards, because you lifted the iPad and placed it on a track, kept the iPad from moving. I honestly cannot imagine, though, how this version can fix that since it would make it more difficult to open and close. Yes, this cover makes the iPad much heavier, but that's to be expected. I love the gray textured fabric-like material (vinyl?) that gives it a warm look. This case is worth every penny. Although it's not inexpensive, it's much more cost-effective than the one Apple sells. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Sleek Keyboard/Case that works seamlessly with my IPad Air
I bought this case because I wanted something that would protect my IPad as I bring it with me a lot and obviously you're protecting a large investment. It has worked flawless so far since I've been using it for a few months now. PROS: It's a heavy duty case, I don't worry about if my IPad is protected enough. Love the spot in the close flap for the Apple Pen and the room it leaves if I want to leave the pen attached to the IPad. It is functional in many different positions and love that I can elevate it a bit when it's sitting on my lap. The illuminated keys are the keyboard are a nice touch and being able to have a touch pad for a mouse is a win. It really has everything I need and more. CONS: With being so heavy duty, it is heavy. It adds a lot of weight to my IPad Air. But it's a trade-off as I know how solid it is. The only very minor glitchy thing I've noticed is if I have the IPad on my lap and try and use the keyboard, with the uneven surface it can go back and forth between the on screen keyboard as it's not sure which one I'm trying to use. Not a big deal at all. Price point is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this if you want all the things and want it feel like you're on a laptop sometimes. It's high quality and will protect your investment. And it should, for the price you pay.

Does what it needs to
pros -love that i don't need to connect the keyboard via bluetooth. if i need to use the keyboard, it's as quick as just snapping it in place to my ipad. -great that i can use all the gestures on the trackpad, just as you can with the apple keyboard. i don't have to install any other apps to be able to use all the functions of the keyboard. - the ability to disconnect the ipad from the keyboard, that way i can use the ipad by itself without needing the keyboard attached. sometimes i simply want to bring my ipad to the kitchen to watch something and i won't have the keyboard taking up unnecessary room on the table. -i love the hinge on the back of the case. you can move it a full 180° and it's perfect for just having my ipad stand up or being able to place my ipad at a small angle to make writing easier. very convenient and quick. it's also pretty smooth. i've had the case for a good couple months and there is still give on the hinge! -the overall design is lovely. i love the fabric feel of the entire case. it's neutral and has a nice aesthetic. -the case itself is extremely sturdy and i have no worries that my ipad is unprotected. it's also super lightweight and easy to bring my ipad on the go. cons -even though i love that the case is made out of fabric, it also isn't the best thing. i have one spot on the bottom of my keyboard that got scratched and now i have a tiny bit of frayed fabric in that one spot -there are times where i'll be using the trackpad and suddenly it stops working and i have to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard from my ipad to get it working again. it gets really annoying when i'm scrolling through school work and it interrupts my flow of work. -i do love that it doesn't connect via bluetooth, but i also dislike that there isn't an option to use bluetooth as well. when i'm writing notes with my apple pencil, i don't want to have the keyboard connected, but there will be times when i want to type a header in my notes and it would be great to have the keyboard connected via bluetooth, so i could type in my header quickly. i have a separate bluetooth keyboard for this reason. -there are times when i'm scrolling with the trackpad and suddenly the app/window i'm on zooms in?? and i have absolutely no idea why this happens. i have to close and reopen the app/window when this happens. this is just another thing that ruins my workflow. overall: i really do like this keyboard case. there's just small things here and there that are very grating, but i still make this little guy work, and that's really all that matters. i would still recommend this to others, especially due to the price compared to the apple keyboard. this is still a very good bargain! i have no regrets.

Completely worth it
If you are looking at this product, your goal is avoiding the spending of a significant amount of money on top of what you have already spent on your device. If that is the case, you have selected the right product. Let me start by adding the only issue I have, actually more of a nitpick, that I have with this keyboard case. It only comes in one color. That is it. I wish it had different colors to match it with the color of my iPad. All that said, let's get to the good stuff. I will list some of the questions that you might be thinking of: 1. Is the case sturdy? 2. Will this case protect my iPad? 3. Does it have exact cutouts for all the ports, speakers, buttons, etc.? 4. Will this case remain closed, once I have finished with using it? 5. Does it look good once in the case? Short answer to all the above. Yes! Keyboard: There is a small adjustment curve that you will have to get used to if you are not used to typing on small keyboards. After a while, your hands will get used to it, and you will be able to type for a while without any issues. The keyboard has a nice travel, it is backlit and as an added bonus, you have some function keys that will allow you to handle some tasks without having to touch your screen. The trackpad is nice and has a nice click to it. For those who are interested in extending the life of the trackpad, I would recommend that you enable the tap to click option. Let's say that you are tired and want to sit back and relax for a while, but you don't want to carry the keyboard around, no problem. You can detach the keyboard and use the stand. The Case: The case is a strong rubber. You will not have any issues placing your iPad in this case. Also, an added bonus, if you added a screen protector, this case will not interfere with it in any way. It does add some girth to the iPad, but then again, we know that all cases will do that to any tablet. When you close the case, you will see that everything stays closed. Final thoughts: If you want to protect your device, if you don't want to break the bank (further), if you want something that will look good, and finally if you want something that will grant you some added functionality and versatility, this is the case for you. You will not regret it.

Makes your ipad like a Surface - a superb add-on!
This is a brilliant add-on to the iPad. It’s SO much better than every similar case for Samsung tablets - and I’ve tried them all - that it makes my iPad my go-to device over other tablets and computers. The fit is pretty perfect on the iPad. Nice and snug. The keyboard attaches really well - about as good as a Surface which is pretty much the gold standard for me. It doesn’t wobble with the iPad on your lap. The texture of this earlier-generation case is MUCH better than the newer “m2/m3” variant. That one is super smooth and slippery. WHY? The older generation has almost a denimy feel to it so it has a great amount of grip. I don’t use it in particular dirty or dusty environments so it stays pretty clean for me, despite the texture. The keyboard is super to type on - again, about as good as a Surface. The backlight is great. The trackpad is also nice, but I really don’t like the weird little dot that iPads have when you connect an external trackpad or mouse. It doesn’t move well, and isn’t precise. That’s not a failing of the Logitech case, though, it’s just iPad OS’s crappy mouse pointer. The kickstand works perfectly and requires just the right about of force to open. I wish this case had a clip or something to hold an Apple Pencil or Logitech crayon but it’s still 5 stars even without that. Every other case for a Samsung tablet is 1 star by comparison.

Kayboard/Trackpad works great and the case still looks good after 4 years.
DirectConnect keyboard is much more reliable than any BlueTooth keyboard I've tried. The trackpad works well. The fabric-like exterior (model 920-010260) is much easier to hold than smooth vinyl-like exteriors of other ComboTouch models. Easy to use and holds up great. 4 years later. I remain quite pleased with the product. When I bought another (for another iPadAir), I discovered current products have a smooth vinyl-like exterior which is harder to grip, finger-smudges badly, and the kickstand is more difficult to use. As of June-2026 the old fabric model (920-010260) is available on Amazon and there are plenty of used ones available.

Just what I needed!
I wanted a keyboard for my iPad that would detach when I just wanted to use the flat tablet in its case, and this does exactly what I wanted. The main case is protective and has a nice feel to it in your hand. The keyboard is well-designed, with a pleasant backlight and a good typing experience (and I'm very picky about keyboard switches). Great for using your iPad in bed because you can use the kickstand portion to adjust it however you need. Overall very pleased and I've had it for about eight months now with no issues. That being said, I worry about eventual weardown of the kickstand, whether that be in the magnets that hold it to the case or in the "fabric" that gets wrinkled when you push it up. So far so good, but I can see it being an issue in a few years.
